Lillie and Dorothy are so friendly and their dogs.... adorable. Literally anything you would need at the chalet was there waiting when we arrived. Including a lovely view of the garden and trees beyond. We've travelled to a lot of hotels, b&bs and holiday chalets, etc. This trumped them all. I wish we could give them a higher score because Lillie really went the extra mile.

I booked this accommodation as part of a business trip on behalf of two colleagues. They could not praise the accommodation enough. From the moment they arrived until they left again everything was perfect, starting with a very warm welcome and friendly host. Plenty of parking. The accommodation itself was very clean and cosy and they mentioned the peace and quiet along with the stunning views were ideal for any getaway. The little touches like having the essentials there on arrival so you can relax with a cuppa after your journey just summed up the thoughtful approach this host has taken. We look forward to staying with you again next year Noel and would highly recommend this accommodation to others.

The location was wonderful. The host was so good! She had left us sandwich fixings which came in very handy after traveling all night with 2 small children from the States. Our stay was very pleasant!

Wow, this lodge met and exceeded all our family expectations. The host Mel and her family have designed it beautifully, so much attention to detail not only in design but for guests comfort too. Everything you might need from a coffee machine, milk frother (might now need to invest in one too), washing machine and dyer to Netflix!!! Home from home... & better. Main bed very comfy, very quiet, especially at night and plenty of storage to hang clothes and tidy away your suitcases if staying for longer.

Cottage had everything we could need and was very clean, warm and comfortable. Very close to the village. Just wish we had more time to enjoy being there.
