Location was great, not too far of a drive for the day of arrival it placed us very close to our first activity on the following day. Poás Volcano and Bajos del Toro Blue Falls trail. The restaurant was great, we had a very tasty warm meal upon our arrival and breakfast was great. The whole facility was beautiful and well groomed. Staff were nice and extremely helpful. They helped us book online the tickets we needed while we used their computer.

Host was superb and was very kind even when I arrived late at night in the rain. Room was beautiful and breakfast tasted great!

Yatama Rainforest Ecolodge ligger på de mellersta klipporna i regnskogen Costarican, känd som Horquetas de Sarapiqui. Detta lantliga område är fullt av ekoturism och lummiga tropiska trädgårdar. Access to Yatama Rainforest Ecolodge is a bit difficult, but definitely worth it. You will stay in the forest, far from any town or road. Fantastic to go hiking in the forest, observe animals and relax in nature. Not a five stars resort but this is perfectly what I was looking for.

Peace Lodge ligger 1 timmes bilresa från San Jose i Vara Blanca och erbjuder inomhuspool och restaurang. WiFi är gratis. Boendet har både TV och balkong. The room was amazing with a ridiculously epic view and a jacuzzi in the balcony too! Our bathroom was just incredible with a bath, a shower and a separate waterfall shower. The view and location is breathtaking. It’s secluded enough to make you feel slightly off the grid and the scenery is beautiful. There are some amazing plants to see and plenty of humming birds flying around that make the experience magical. Whoever designed this hotel has put a lot of thought into detail and must have loved nature. There are waterfalls at the property which cannot be missed.

La Cabaña ligger i Heredia, 16 km från Poás nationalpark och 6,5 km från Altunizade tunnelbanestation, och erbjuder utsikt över trädgården. Great house, with beautiful view. Check-in was easy with keys in a locker, easy access, great location close to Poas and La Paz.

Deluxe boutique lodge har utsikt över trädgården och erbjuder boende med en uteplats och kaffemaskin, 6,2 km från Altunizade tunnelbanestation. The Deluxe Boutique Lodge was perfect in so many ways. We booked this location to be close to Poas National Park and La Paz Waterfall Garden. It was 20 minutes to one and 10 to the other. Walter met us at the property even though due to weather and construction we were about an hour late. He also became our lifesaver that day. Again, due to weather, a family member was delayed arriving into San Jose. Walter volunteered to drive down to San Jose and pick her up. The property is located on the main road into the small village of Vara Blanca, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The Lodge is super clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the WIFI very good and the huge TV was a welcome diversion during the stormy weather. We do not hesitate to recommend this property

The cabin and the property is simply beautiful and clean. The pool and views are amazing and the owner is very friendly. Can only recommend it.

Cabaña Mountain View har utsikt över bergen och erbjuder boende med en uteplats och kaffemaskin, 18 km från Parque Diversiones. We loved the location, the comfortability, spaciousness of the property. Juan was fantastic! He made the whole experience easy and joyful! He was extremely helpful and kind. We are so grateful 14/10 would stay here again!!
