Reserva Natural Tucuchira is situated in Santa Sofía, 31 km from Leticia. Tabatinga is 34 km from the property. The property offer hammock-style accommodation, shared bathroom facilities are included. Really an extraordinary experience. In the middle of the rain forest 30 to 40 mins away from Santa Sofía by foot The stuff is very friendly. The food is very good. You can do a lot of different activities. But be aware that the guides only speak spanish. My best experience in Colombia so far. Ten out of ten :)

Hotel Amazon is located in the heart of Leticia, a few minutes from Amazon River on the border between Colombia, Peru and Brazil. It offers a hot tub, massage services and spacious bungalows. If you are needing accommodation in Leticia do yourself a favor and book a room here. They will set you up with a tour if needed - if you need to book the ferry they will help you find the ticket office (which is a little tricky to find) and recommend anything else you could or would need. Judy was an absolute darling - took my wife and i down to the market in her car and walked us to the ticket office. She then flagged down a tuk tuk for us to tour Tabatinga. Amazing lady and they were so helpful - rooms and property are gorgeous and comfortable. Like a familiar chair only tropical!
