What a wonderful surprise, a motel with 5* hotel service. Spotlessly clean and everything you need. Ed, the proprietor is a winner, I could not rate his service more highly. Breakfast included is a 3 course meal - cereals, croissants and then a full English breakfast - all served with gleeful smiles. This is a motel, but it's pretty and spotless with space to breathe. The motel is alongside the main road through the area, but nights are silent and we slept fabulously. The best thing is the kind and meticulous service. GO ED!!!!

The house is very comfortable, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Great host. We were given free check-in from 1 p.m. and check-out until 11.00 a.m., which was very nice and convenient for us with two small children. It was very nice to see bread, butter, eggs, milk, juice, coffee, tea, sugar, ketchup and the like for the first breakfast. Very clean, freshly renovated, enough bed linen and towels, dishes in the kitchen. Free parking next to the house. The owner provided us with passes for which you can also use the indoor pool for free. 4 minutes by car and we are on the central beach.

Lovely van, in great location and I can imagine on a summers day the decking would be lovely. Welcome pack of local biscuits & bottle of juice. Also a kitchen cleaning pack was handy to get us going Dishwasher wash a bonus as well Having tv in each room, WiFi & Netflix's was amazing. Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Please read this whole review: the property is not fit for purpose, and was not as advertised. So, we ask for a refund. Pros: The location, near to Rye was good. - the size of the chalet. - it was dog-friendly - the bed was large, as advertised - the surrounding trees

Absolutely beautiful, so cozy and inviting, the log burner was fantastic and the shepherds hut was so well equipped. Only wish I could have stayed longer.

Really pleased that we booked to stay here in a family room. The rooms are set out chalet style in a row of rooms just behind the pub Quiet location, comfortable and clean. We had a nice lunch at the adjoining pub and then quick and easy check in.

Each room has a name and it's decorated following that theme. Ours was a beach hut, with a lot of details that the only missing bit was the sound of the waves. Breakfast was great and so the variety for lunch and dinner at the pub. Staff was great and very helpful.

I stayed in the Beach Hut room which was small, but very cosy and comfortable and nicely done. The staff were lovely, the food delicious and the portions VERY generous! The place looked lovely and Christmassy, too, and it was a treat to sip a drink by the fire in the bar. I would definitely recommend this place, and hope to be back!

We loved staying in a very old house dating back centuries with original wooden beams. The house has character, taste and comfort. We loved the décor of the bedroom. Brenda had added many small but much appreciated touches to make our stay enjoyable. The very large bed was extremely comfortable with just the right softness and luxurious linen. In the bathroom cabinet we found a treasure trove of toiletries. Brenda was welcoming and considerate. The location was excellent for exploring the town and finding restaurants.

The beach hut room was perfect for our one night pit stop on route to our caravan holiday. Decor was very well thought through although the room would have been slightly too small if we were staying any longer as we had a dog. But was down for what we needed. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. The bar area is well done with lovely decor. Food and drink was lovely too (particularly the roast beef dinner!) we will definitely be back
