The campground with a balcony and garden views has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and 1 bathroom with a shower. Towels and bed linen are offered in the campground. There is also a seating area and a fireplace.

The lodge was absolutely spotless on arrival, there was a lovely welcome basket filled with lots of nice things. The location of the lodge was fantastic, just a short walk to the riverside cafe which is a beautiful spot for breakfast. It is also only about a 20 minute walk to and from Knaresborough centre, we were there 3 nights and didn't need to use the car once. There was plenty of space inside the lodge, the living area is really large, we had two extra guests for one night and it didn't feel cramped at all with four adults. We all really loved it and would highly recommend to anyone. We would definitely go back again 👍

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

NOT a complaint, just trying to be helpful The shower door room 5 doesn't shut well, making it possible for the room floor to get wet if it isn't checked. I feel a notice to this effect would be quite acceptable, Wouldn't hesitate to stay again, Lady on duty most welcoming and helpful. R

Great, clean and practical chalet type room for dog, with space for basket / crate, away from main building and road noise. Ate at hotel both nights as convenient. Nice bar.

The property was in a great private location and was perfect for a weekend away. Hannah was a lovely host and went above and beyond decorating the hut prior to our arrival for a birthday celebration.

Nice decor, comfy sofas and bed. Loved the wooden beams. It was just what we needed for a weekend in the heart of Knaresborough. Easy to check in and out, and the flexibility of the arrival times were good as we didn't arrive until 7pm. We would stay again.

Although my room was at the front, overlooking the main road, there was little traffic noise at night, and well fitted window shutters together with thick curtains ensured the room was quiet.

In-force covid restrictions meant that we didn't feel comfortable using the residents' lounge or the library of books provided. We were asked to give breakfast orders by SMS which is not a medium I'm happy using. The breakfasts were excellent, though! Our room faced the road but shutters kept out most of the traffic noise so that I, a light sleeper, wasn't disturbed.
