The Victorian lobby of the hotel was absolutely stunning, it is one of the most gorgeous I have ever seen. The arching staircase, the chandelier, the Grecian pillars. I appreciate how it had been cared for and maintained and I very much hope that continues. I stayed in the Princess Royal room - the view of the ocean and the town down the cliffside was absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset.

The room was clean, organised perfectly and had the most amazing sea view I've ever had at any hotel. It was absolutely beautiful and didn't fault to provide some lovely sunrises and sunsets. There were some lovely tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided. Don't get me started on the leisure centre ! We are still talking about the steam room and ice room a week later. Absolutely brilliant. And will definitely book here again. Staff were friendly and fast checking us in and the parking for 48hrs was a bargain.

We went without any expectations and were thrilled with our stay. Had evening meal which we really enjoyed even though it was frozen vegetables and potatoes but the Beef Bourguignonne was amazing. Lovely soup to start and great choice of desert. Breakfast was enjoyable especially the bacon 👍🏼 Staff were all polite too despite having to contend with rude residents. Hotel has been renovated to a high standard.
