Located 2.3 km from Bonavista Beach, VODA Hotel & Spa is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Galle, featuring an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and private parking. Everything was perfect, especially the mangrove forest surrounded by cabanas. I'd also like to mention the friendly manager and staff. Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool and quiet stay near Unawatuna town.

I can't express how happy I was with my stay. The host is amazing, she is so kind and welcoming. Her whole family were an amazing host. She made sure I had the best time there. The view was perfect along with the effort she took to prepare an elaborate srilankan breakfast. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Galle must stay here. You get the amazing host, amazing room with a view and a private-ish beach to your self.

Many many thanks to the manager lady and all the staff on the premises for giving us the best possible welcome to sri lanka and giving us so much more that just good tips about restaurants and other things around. Guruge and his wife are super friendly and know exactly how to great people. The room and kitchen were super clean. Plus it’s in the middle of the nature. If you want to see how a local lives, go for it!

The place itself is very calm and good to relax, with a beautiful garden and pool area. The bedroom was very comfortable and well kept. The Sri lankan breakfast was really tasty, we loved it. And a special shout-out to Asanka, who was very welcoming and did everything for us to have a really nice stay. Thank you!

The bathroom was spotless and very modern. The internet connection was good. the breakfast was big, varied and tasty. I will definitely come back when coming to Galle.
