Ideally set in Kilkenny, Butler House offers an à la carte breakfast and free WiFi. This guest house provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. The breakfast was very good, the eggs were cooked just right. The room was very big with soft carpets. Only after visiting the castle (just 5 minutes by foot) we learned that the house has a historical importance. It's also 5-7 minutes by foot in another direction to the older part of the town with a lot of bars and other landmarks. There was a private parking available.

My husband and I loved sitting outside on the patio. Plenty of space to relax in our area upstairs. Plenty of food options too, including the complimentary food that Jean gave us.

The location and grounds were great. It was a fun experience while visiting Ireland. All the basic necessities were provided.

Tess's Guest House R95K6N1 This Property is unsuitable for children under 12 years old features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Freshford, 15 km from Kilkenny Railway... Tess was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely breakfast in the morning and lots of choices for tea or coffee at your leisure. Beautiful home and very comfortable bed. Jo, is fabulous. It’s a bit far from town but she drove us in and picked us up both nights of our stay. We loved it here, the property is so charming and we were more than comfortable. 100/10
