We arrived on the early evening of New Year's Eve and having called basically every restaurant in town, and in the surrounds, we were resigned to having takeaway for dinner, as everything was fill. Then Mike, the owner's husband, made a quick call to friends and they squeezed us into their restaurant (and even gave us a discount). Fantastic! Geraldine and Mike were lovely - friendly and helpful. Easy parking right outside, and a very comfortable stay. The hotel is just over the river from the town, making it quiet, yet only about 2 minutes walk into the main street. Good breakfast in the morning, after which we had time to walk around town without pressure to check out.

The breakfast was excellent and I loved the homemade bread. Marie and her mother were so friendly and welcoming. Very helps with recommendations of activities and restaurants.
