Located in Donegal, Ros Dun provides accommodation with access to a garden with a sun terrace. We arrived on the early evening of New Year's Eve and having called basically every restaurant in town, and in the surrounds, we were resigned to having takeaway for dinner, as everything was fill. Then Mike, the owner's husband, made a quick call to friends and they squeezed us into their restaurant (and even gave us a discount). Fantastic! Geraldine and Mike were lovely - friendly and helpful. Easy parking right outside, and a very comfortable stay. The hotel is just over the river from the town, making it quiet, yet only about 2 minutes walk into the main street. Good breakfast in the morning, after which we had time to walk around town without pressure to check out.

At the bottom of the Slieve League Cliffs, Slieve League B&B offers en suite rooms with free parking and WiFi. This County Donegal B&B can also arrange kayak rental and guided walks of the area. Very kind host with lots of useful information about surrounding hikes.
