Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Craggan is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Ballater, 16 km from Balmoral Castle. The B&B is located in a beautiful Victorian house, with a authentic view. The room ia very large, comfortable and luxurious. We enjoyed very much the rich and exquisit breakfast prepared by Louise and especially Martin's company and hospitality. Thank you Louise and Martin for the many little things that made our stay wonderful.

Situated in Dufftown, in a historic building, 22 km from Huntly Castle, Abbeyfield B&B is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge. A delightful B&B in Dufftown. Kira and Tom are excellent hosts and have created a lovely guesthouse. This is an excellent place from which to explore the distilleries and everything this area has to offer. I would recommend it to anyone.

Offering a garden and river view, The Fiddichside Inn is located in Aberlour, 30 km from Huntly Castle and 35 km from Grantown Museum. Beautiful setting, comfortable space with 2 bedrooms/baths and full kitchen & living. Could have stayed comfortably for several days. Owner very responsive. The attached bar was a fun place to meet the locals. Angus, the bartender, was very hospitable, & knowledgable about the flavor profiles of the wide variety of spirits available. We felt very welcome while the locals regaled us with stories of their families and the area’s history. Remember it’s a bar not a pub-they don’t serve food but they can recommend a couple of restaurants. The outdoor seating by the river was an added plus! Definitely worth a visit!

Situated in Elgin and only 600 metres from Elgin Cathedral, The Pines Guest House features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful old house, spacious room, great breakfast and large and quiet lounge room we could use to read a book (or watch television). Friendly and hospitable couplet that run the place. Attention for sustainability (electricity, towels, etc.). Best stay during our three weeks trip in Scotland.

Set in Rothes and only 17 km from Elgin Cathedral, 4 Stills Apartment offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This is the first place in The UK that I could easily say I felt at home. The apartment is fully equipped with all that you might wish. The place was really clean and cosy for a person from the continent /you know what I mean :) /. See you next time when we'll give us much more time to visit the splendid distilleries in Speyside. Set in Ballater and only 15 km from Balmoral Castle, Unique tiny house with wood fired roll top bath in heart of the Cairngorms offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private... Excellent location if you truly want to get away. Property was very safe and clean. Wonderful waking up to fresh coffee being brewed with the espresso machine! Property is great for couples over a long weekend.

Featuring garden views, Silverstripe offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 28 km from Huntly Castle. Boasting bicycle parking, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. This B&B in Turriff was a fantastic Easter weekend stay for myself and my partner. The place was beautiful and we had a comfortable night stay with the fire ready for us when we got in and an extra treat of homemade cake on arrival. We also loved the breakfast provided with lots of nice options to choose from. Thank you so much for making our stay up north so special. Set in Stonehaven, Stonehaven ground floor home with a spectacular harbour view. Offers a restaurant and sea views, 200 metres from Carron Beach and less than 1 km from Cowie Beach. The cottage was wonderful. We all enjoy our stay. It was a great respite in our busy travel schedule.
