I feel like I'm at a friend's house. We really enjoy our stay because it feels like a second home. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night but it was a very pleasant stay.

Villa Jakobsbrunnen is an oasis of calm, grace and human warmth - yet in the middle of the town and close to all public transport. As the name suggests, this was a former patrician house in the middle of a park full of trees and sculptures. In the summer, the park must be a wonderful place to stroll around and enjoy the surroundings - or to sit and enjoy a book. Right after passing through the gates, Nicole, a perfect hostess, greeted me in front of the villa. She took the time to guide me through the B&B set-up that made my stay comfortable. As I was travelling for work and had a conference call, Nicole accommodated my request to arrive an hour earlier than foreseen. She made sure that I was well-settled in and walk me through the simple steps to connect to the secure wifi. My spacious room - far bigger and taller than in modern buildings - was up two flights of stairs and down a wide corridor. An individual bathroom with a shower is just outside the room. The kitchen offers a well-filled fridge and cupboard for breakfast. There are even kitchen utensils for those who want to make a warm meal. The villa is located five minutes off the main road and the main pedestrian town centre with its shops and restaurants. For those using public transport, the villa is convenient to get to either on foot (a15-minute walk) or on a bus (a three-minute ride).

Featuring city views, EMA House Serviced Apartments Superior Downtown is located in the Unterstrass district of Zürich, less than 1 km from Main Railway Station Zurich and a 13-minute walk from ETH Zurich. It is situated 600 metres from Swiss National Museum and features a lift. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Very clean and modern apartment, everything worked and was put together very well. There was always someone to assist when we needed assistance, either by phone or in person. The location is very good, 5-10 min walk to the train station where you can find a supermarket with extended hours. Old city is 15 min walk, as is the famous shopping street. Zurich is a very civilized and safe city, very high end and priced appropriately (i.e. high). The condo is also a 2 min walk from a beautiful park with lots of green spaces and good for jogging. A swimming area in one of the lake tributaries is literally across the street, but we did not partake.

Homestay Chez Esther is located in Horgen, 12 km from Zürich. Free Wi-Fi is offered at the property.

The room features a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Guests can use a shared terrace with lake view. Esther is an absolutely perfect host, property is clean and location is great.

Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and private parking is available on site. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. As the name suggests, the studio is indeed "gemütlich": spacious, stylish, clean, provides privacy as it is located in a separate building. Good wifi, fridge, plates, utensils, coffee machine, tea kettle. If there would be a microwave it would be just perfect. Bus stop a few minutes away, Kempten train station 7-8 minutes walk. The caretaker lady was really friendly which added an extra nice touch to the stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Re-opened after extensive renovations in December 2016, CITY STAY - Lindenstrasse is located in Zürich, 900 metres from Zurich Opera House. Kunsthaus Zurich is 1.4 km from the property. Private parking is available on site. The property was nicely located and rooms were clean and allocated well. The staff is what sets this hotel apart from others. It was so nice to be welcomed back by happy smiling faces .

Freihof Embrach is set in Embrach, 16 km from Zürich. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

The rooms have a TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area where you can relax.

There is a shared kitchen at the property. The room was great. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. The breakfast is amazing - perhaps the best served to me at a hotel. When I checked in, I was asked what my breakfast preferences were and in the morning I was served a very sumptuous and delicious personal meal.

A dishwasher, an oven and fridge are also available, as well as a kettle. Beautiful, modern apartment with everything you could possibly need! What a delight to stay here! It’s a shame we only had one night here.
