Highly recommended!! The location is very near to Ita Thao pier, which we could easily get to by boat from Shuishe even with our luggage. It's a new place (opened in April 2023), the facilities are modern and in good condition, and the design of the place is very intentional. The owners are very friendly and cared for us very well, even giving us a lift to Taichung since they happened to be heading there for the day too. Breakfast was lovingly prepared and very delicious too!

Mei Jen is a one minute walk from Shuishe Visitor Center/Bus Station. The mom and daughter went out of their way to help. My shoes got wet from the rain. They moved them from the rack and put them on a dehumidifier to help them dry. They sent me a message to let me know. They answered all my questions about the area and the bus schedule. My room had a balcony with a partial view of the lake. The room had a sitting area with a love seat. The bed was comfortable. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The B&B has a washer and dryer. They have shared refrigerators and water dispensers on each floor. There is an elevator. The breakfasts were good with different options each morning. There is a rooftop terrace. A 7/11 is across the street.

The room was clean, quite big and the bathroom has dryer and really high tech. The hosts (oh my God) are very helpful and always try to make our stay comfortable. They are very friendly and always try to show you good places to visit. Really really really love their hospitality. English was obviously not their first language, but boy they really tried their best to communicate with us. And I must say they did a really good job. I don't have problem understanding them.

Impressed by the warm and welcoming feeling this place eludes upon reaching. There aren’t many property of this standard near Sun Moon Lake and am glad we chose to stay here instead of a hotel. it’s cleanliness and comfort level is way above a hotel’s. everything was kept in tip top condition. we got exactly what we saw in the photos. there was no disappointment! breakfast is a must try! it’s homemade and tasty! the hosts also made special arrangement to ensure we had our breakfast before we travelled up to Taipei by waking up earlier than usual to prep. thank you!
