I had a very peaceful and comfortable stay at Bo Camping. I booked a cabin and got liberally an upgrade (bathroom inside the cabin) for free. The comfortable bed and functional equipment makes it easy to have a cosy stay. The check-in via deposited envelope worked perfectly fine and Arnhild (staff) was really nice and hospitable. The house is an absolute dream. It is a perfect mix between modern and cozy. It cannot be beat in terms of comfort. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The view is breathtaking. We had a great stay!!

The location was nice, quiet and near Bø sommerland and about 8 minutes away from municipality center by car. The place is clean, and though outdated in style, is still functional and maintained. We rented the property during low season, so we were the only occupants for the entire period we stayed. I am not sure how it is during high season. There is no reception area but they have a contact number you can call 24/7, the staff on the phone was helpful and friendly. We did bring bed sheets to save money as well as opted to tidying and cleaning the floors to save up on the cleaning fee, took around 15 minutes to clean so it was OK. The kitchen has a ref with ample space (not the small hotel ref size) and some kitchen utenzils so we were able to cook our meals.

Beautiful location, overlooking a tranquil lake surrounded by mountains. Horses and apple orchard. Morning fog on the lake was lovely. The calls of cranes echoing from the hills. The 1770 stabbur was very roomy and well-equipped with bathroom, kitchen, TV. I loved the history of the place—like a museum. Short drive to Bo or Lunde, Telemark. Torstein and Goril were charming hosts. I plan to return and recommend to my family.
