Great location. Nicely furnished, comfortable beds and everything you need for a home away from home. The welcome basket with some snacks was an exceptional touch. Everything was great. Just an FYI for taller people. There are some beams that make the ceiling height low in places. My partner and his brother are 6ft 7in and 6ft 5in respectively and had to duck.

A good walk around Hack Fall Woods & river can be done from the front door. Lots of places to eat in the local villages. Hopefully the pub in Grewelthorpe will reopen soon. The host Claudia is friendly, welcoming and helpful, not forgetting her waggy tailed dog pepper. Hope to return in the not too distant future.IanSolo traveller
