The hosts at Aurora were some of the most helpful and welcoming that I've ever had. They greeted us with Tibetan tea on our arrival and when we left, they gave us a small gift bag. We visited during the Spring Festival so some things were closed and transport was not as available, they helped us with this issue. The hotel is located out of Old town and is a 15 minute drive away. They arranged private drivers for hire, drove us into town whenever we needed and helped us organize our COVID tests. They took us to the hospital and to the bus terminal and helped us plan everything. They spoke English and were always available on Wechat. They provide free breakfast and offer dinner on site. This family is so sweet and so extremely helpful! I will be returning simply because of how warm and welcoming they were.

A very cozy Inn, perfectly located in the old town, a beautifully decorated room in traditional style and a fantastic host Rose who treated us to tea and snacks upon arrival and gave us many excellent recommendations for our visit. Recommend the Timeless Inn to everyone!

Lo mejor fue la localización, justo a la entrada de la ciudad vieja de Shangri-La. El personal fue muy amable y colaborador, nos dieron agua gratis y nos ofrecieron paraguas y ropa de abrigo. La calefacción y el colchón eléctrico funcionaban muy bien. La decoración es muy bonita y acogedora. Guardaequipaje.
