Situated in Horta, Manta Ray Lodge provides free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Excellent, facility was clean, beautifully decorated, the staff was the best!! , breakfast was included with the room was outstanding, the view from the room was spectacular , room was perfectly laid out- a model for others to use, facility on a city road an ease walk into town, great stay, plan to return next year - a good value

Located 600 metres from the small island airport, Quinta das Buganvílias is surrounded by a large park with lush vegetation. I like the property a lot. It’s a gorgeous place, I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It’s a beautiful farm where you will live with the nature, wake up and go sleep with birds 🐦 have breakfast with a farm and domestic food 🤤 Ana and while staff is so kind and helpful. Thank you a lot with the opportunity to stay with dog, for helping with the car rent and helping and keeping in touch when our flight was rescheduled.

Ubytovanie Mar Rosa - Terraço Vista Praia sa nachádza pri mori v destinácii Horta 16 min. chôdze od miesta Praia de Porto Pim a 2,1 km od miesta Praia da Conceição. The property is a house overlooking the beach, the rooms themselves don't have the oceanview per se but have access to a terrace that does. It was clean and the lady who runs it, Alice, is very nice. Location is also very close to the center of town and nice restaurants and right behind a hiking trail along with the whaling/whale oil museum.

Faial Cottage B&B is situated in Cedros and offers a kitchenette, a terrace. The property has panoramic ocean views as well as garden views and is 12 km from Horta. Beautiful property, great views over the sea and landscape, very comfortable bed! Hosts were so accommodating and caring and the daily breakfasts perfect! Extra nice touches, like wildflowers in the kitchen and bathroom, helped make it extra special!

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in 45 years of travel. Artistic and funky but also warm, friendly and totally unpretentious. The hotel is an old style property, airy and light with big windows and views to the Pico volcano. It is like a gem of an oasis amidst more recent development on the edge of town, but is only ten mins walk down to the big square and port. Breakfast in the spacious dining room is exceptional and the ladies who run the hotel are charming and helpful. We had the extra benefit and unexpected bonus of the Suite, which was like having your own flat with a terrace! There are some trendy restaurant options down the hill with good food - but rather pricey wine, but we found a couple of traditional older places (Medalhas & Lima) that we liked. For whale-watching, Naturalist are a good science-based outfit and if you are short of time or transport they do an excellent half day island tour too - very informative and not touristy. You can do both in one day!
