The owner were really friendly and helpful. They contacted us before the arrival to make sure we have everything we need for our trip. Rooms a really quiet and the bed confortables . The hotel is well located, only few minutes away from the center. The breakfast was tasty with a good selection of homemade products

Quinta do Fojo Valonguinho, Barrô er staðsett í Barrô, 16 km frá Our Lady of Remedies-helgistaðnum og 19 km frá Douro-safninu. Boðið er upp á grillaðstöðu og fjallaútsýni. Everything was prepared when we arrived up the step road. We had a small car so for us everything was ok but if you have a massive sedan or suv you might not fit through the gate or be able to park easily as this is located on the hillside. But my god how beautiful location this is. The pictures really does show the beauty of this location. Our hostess fixed a lovely dinner with cheese and chauteriy board as couvert and pork potatoes and tomato sallad for main with a lovely red wine to go with it. Breakfast was also lovely with her own made jams and fruits picked from her own garden. All in all a perfect stay. Would recommend this quiet small place to anyone who wants tranquility and a warm welcome from the hostess.

Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, í um 1,3 km fjarlægð frá Douro-safninu. Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Zimão Garden House er staðsett í Vila Real, 30 km frá Natur Waterpark, 31 km frá Golf Course Vidago Palace og 43 km frá Douro Museum. Not enough words to describe this wonderful place. It was so good so after we left , we decided to go back and stay longer. Perfect by all means.

Stay at the Winemaker er staðsett í Ervedosa do Douro, 32 km frá Douro-safninu og 33 km frá Natur-vatnagarðinum, og býður upp á garð- og útsýni yfir ána. - Amazing view - excellent breakfast - super comfortable beds - Amazing outside area and surrounding nature The absolute best is the amazing host Martin. Casa do Arco by Douro Exclusive í São Cristóvão do Douro býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna, bar og sameiginlega setustofu. Very professional and friendly staff with an eye on every detail. The boutique accomodation is beautifully decorated and designed with a very cozy atmosphere. The view is absolutely breathtaking in every one of the rooms and the location of the peoperty being high up on the hill with massive ceiling to floor windows makes you want to capture the moment all day from when the fog rolls in during the mornings in February at sunrise to sunset over a glass of wine. We had a very comfortable and enjoying stay.

Golden Mirror í Lamego býður upp á fjallaútsýni, gistirými, sjóndeildarhringssundlaug, garð, bar og sameiginlega setustofu. Absolute gem of the Douro Valley! My husband and I picked the Golden Mirror for the Douro portion of our honeymoon and we were so glad that we did! The rooms are spacious, clean and new and the view from our room was absolutely breath taking! The hosts of the hotel are so SO nice and helped us with parking every time we came back. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minute drive from Regua and about 10 minute drive to Lamego - both had good options for dining. We did two wine tastings just down the road at Quinta da Pacheco and Quinta de Tourais - both were incredible and just a couple minutes from the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a 10/10! We hope to be back some day.

Everything!!! our apartment was stunning! we had two separate bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room. the rooms were spotlessly clean! the pool is gorgeous and the views breathtaking. the breakfast is everything the other reviews said and more! one of our children is coeliac and they provided an excellent range of products that varied each morning… this was so important to us! we didn’t bring a car and we were able to arrange a taxi to the nearest supermarket for €35 return! This is a great option if you wish to get the train to Pala station which is only 5min walk from the property (but steep and stepped so not great for anyone with accessibility issues) and was wayyyy cheaper than €1400 we were quoted for a car for the week! The train runs from Porto.
