This hotel is newly remodeled and very modernize. The room is very clean and comfortable. The AC works wonderful during our stay which was about 34 degrees outside. The host is very kind and welcoming. Fernanda went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. She picked some fresh figs and oranges from the orchard for our breakfast. Our room has a balcony with the wonderful view of Douro river and the valley. We will return.

We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Chaves Thermal Spa is 49 km away and Mateus Palace is 22 km from the guest house. Quiet place with great confort in a fully renovated house. Small details in the decoration made it unique and unforgettable, the host was very helpful and her two cats really made the end of my trip worthwhile.
