It’s quiet, clean, the rooms are lovely, comfy bed, clean bathroom etc. the breakfast is fruit and an omelette, and it’s one of the best omelets I’ve had in Central America. I wish more places were like this, it was honestly the perfect stay. The staff were loooovely and super helpful too! Cannot recommend more.

Complimentary breakfast and city tour is included with your rate. Citytour with the owner was exceptional. Breakfast was great and changed every day. The hostel was a calm oasis and there was a lot of space the hang out.

Rooms are all feature air-conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with hot water and a walk-in wardrobe. Each private bathroom also comes with a bath or shower and free toiletries. There is a full a kitchenette with an oven and a refrigerator. Guests can enjoy pool and garden views from the room. This place is so beautiful. It is a peaceful oasis in the city. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast excellent and the staff exceptional. It is the nicest place we've stayed on our trip.

At the guest house, each unit is fitted with a balcony. The guest house offers some units that have a safety deposit box, and each unit includes a private bathroom and a desk. At the guest house, all units come with bed linen and towels. I was very happy to come back to this charming place. I came here already in August for 2 days. The location is great, just a few blocks from the downtown area in a very relaxed neighborhood. The cabins are simple and lovely. It is not like a normal hostel. It is more like a little co-living village. If you look for party crowds, this is not your spot. But if you need a relaxed place to stay, chill, work, cook, live and relax, you could easily stay here a couple of months. Lorena, the owner, was very helpful with organizing tours. For me the value for money was once again excellent. I'm looking forward to come back!

Staying here was one of the best decisions of my Nicaragua trip, such a tranquil base to explore Granada and nearby Mombacho Volcano from. Loved sitting on the terrace reading, and relaxing by the pool.

Great hosts, very helpful.

Private parking, laundry services and safes are some of the services offered on site; some of these services might have an extra charge. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The facilities were great for lazing about. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfy.

First of all, Gerry and his team are so friendly and helpful that we didn't really want to leave. They helped us with tours and shuttles, all for lower prices than we had expected. Breakfast is fantastic, presuming you like a mountain of fresh fruit, endless delicious coffee and of course Gerry's seemingly endless supply of home made pancakes with syrup and chocolate sauce. I think we put on weight in three days!! WiFi was good. The room was comfortable (including a/c, a mirror, clothes hangers and bedside tables!) and spacious. Location-wise you really couldn't ask for better.

Set in Granada, 41 km from Volcan Mombacho, Hostal Azul offers accommodation with a shared lounge and a garden. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. This was a really lovely hostel, the hammocks and social area were beautiful and really comfortable. The staff were very helpful and organised lots of day trips and shuttles for us and the evening activities organised by Mar we’re lovely as were her recommendations for dinner- she always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast served at the hostel was always amazing and super filling. The door rooms were also very nice with private bathrooms and high ceilings, very big dorm rooms so didn’t feel crowded at all.
