Our two-storey bungalow was very spacious and featured two double beds, two single beds and one balcony with sofas. The staff is simply exceptional and responsive, willing to fulfill every single request. You can book at the reception the most popular excursions on the island at very honest prices. Its small and cosy restaurant is open for breakfast (which is included in the bungalow rate), lunch and dinner. Wide choice of tasty, simple dishes at very modest prices. A big thank you to Iacopo and Diego who made my holiday on this fantastic island one of the most beautiful memories I will cherish forever thanks to their great helpfulness and kindness! Real value for (little) money, absolutely recommended!

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Villa MILENA is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Nosy Be, 600 metres from Ambaro Beach. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Super location, comfortable and clean room and amazingly nice and caring service! Maria and Rosa were really caring and the food was amazing both at breakfast and at dinner. Poolside and the garden was very relaxing and chilling!

Close to the Villa there is a nice lodge with very good facilities. There is a pool and a very good and cosy restaurant.

After the chaos of Nosy-Be airport, we weren’t sure what to expect at Villa Tonga Soa. The only way to describe it was walking into an oasis of calm on the western side of Nosy-be. We were enthusiastically greeted by Bernard and their small dog, Mouf, then Nadia also joined and instantly started to feed us. We’ve never had a more private and personalised experienced anywhere in the world. Every inch of the house and garden was decorated with great care and consideration. We loved our room which was always clean and well presented. We chose to eat at the Villa almost everyday. This wasn’t due to lack of choice but because the food was of the highest quality and so tasty! Nadia is an absolute hero as she was cooking even with a broken leg. Bernard was a fountain of knowledge and gave us good recommendations/advice on what to do and what not to do. We had all the privacy we wanted but one of the highlights of our day was taking a pre-dinner drink with this wonderful couple. Everything we needed was arranged: transfer from and to the airport, Tuk Tuk to visit Lemuria land and bazaar, ride to ATM. The main purpose of our trip was to dive and Sakalav diving was a 10-15 minute walk away. Thank you so much Bernard and Nadia! We hope to come back to you soon!

With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, some rooms at the inn also boast a sea view. At Zara Village rooms include a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. This is one of the loveliest hotels we have ever stayed in - we were fortunate enough to have the whole place to ourselves, which really added to the magic and tranquility. Gerard, the GM, was very attentive but not over bearing. We didn’t realise quite how in Lokobe Nature Reserve it was. We saw a sportive lemur on our first night in the hotel grounds and the common black lemur the next day. Completely wild; not fed by the staff. The infinity pool over looking the jungle/sea is so special. The hotel felt wild and in nature but at the same time super clean and welcoming. The food was delicious, one or two options only but every meal we had was delicious and very good value. Simple breakfast but was enough for us. Really just a fantastic stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Guests can relax in the lush garden or in the shared lounge. Free private parking is possible on site. Our stay at Les Hibiscus was everything we expected and much more. Our host Solange, warmly welcomed us with refreshing cool fruit juice. Our room was very tastefully furnished, replete with a Krups coffee maker (the capsules are not gratis). The attached and private plunge pool was perfect for taking the edge off the warm afternoons or for a bracing morning 'swim'. The self-catering area was deluxe and had all we needed to make cooked breakfasts or full meals. It's style and class were, like our room, something out of a home and leisure magazine feature. The entire spacious property is immaculately landscaped with solar lights to lead one back from the hill overlooking the sea and Nosy Tanga after watching sunsets in comfortable recliners. The various rooms on the property are all separate and private. Solange was generous with her local knowledge and her staff looked after us very well. There's also a night watchman who let us in and out of the property when we ventured out and back. Les Hibiscus is centrally located and close to a motorcycle rental, a supermarket, the bustling village of Dzamandjar, fifteen minutes stroll from the beach and catching a tuk tuk to places near and far. We can only highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Eastern side of Nosy Be for business or pleasure whether alone, as a couple or in a larger group.
