Close to shops and restaurants. Clean . A lot of effort has gone into this property and it shows. We stayed in room 12. Absolutely beautiful. We are staying here again this weekend.

Glencree ligger i vackra omgivningar i Lakeland, med utsikt över en idyllisk bäck, mellan byarna Bowness och Windermere. Our stay at Glencree absolutely exceeded our expectations! The room was gorgeous, very modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a selection of cereals to choose from, fresh fruit and breakfast cooked to order. Great location, and lots of parking in the church across the road if the guest spots are taken. Would highly recommend Glencree to anyone looking for a stay in Windermere.

Meadow Country Guesthouse är ett familjeägt pensionat med utsikt över pittoreska kullar i den lugna byn Ings, 3,2 km från Windermere. Det finns gratis Wi-Fi i sovrummen. This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. The staff managing the check-in and the breakfast was outstanding - warm, efficient and thoughtful. Breakfast was tasty, warm and filling and had good options. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large and spacious. Good strong shower and sufficient supply of hot water. The room was bright and clean.

Westbourne är ett vackert pensionat som ligger i ett lugnt område nedanför Biskey Howe i Lake District. Rummen har duschkabin, lyxiga badprodukter och stora fluffiga handdukar. It was really clean, and very cute!

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. 10 minutes walk from the lake, very cosy lounge where you can drink wine, relax and discuss your daily experience. Very quite area and hotel. I have slept much better than in busy London. Hosts prepared wonderful breakfast that was dreaming about the whole day!

Detta vackra viktorianska hus har ett lugnt läge mellan Windermere och Bowness, bara 1,6 km från Lake Windermere. Wonderfully quirky little B and B. A very comfortable room with enough bedroom space. Loved the claw bath, this was in the bedroom, I loved this but some may not. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This little place was the perfect walking distance to Bowness for restaurants and Windermere for shopping.

Craig Walk Suite ligger i Bowness-on-Windermere, inom 38 km från Derwentwater och 43 km från Askham Hall. Large room with kitchen. Loved having cold water in the fridge as well as welcome cookies, coffee and teas.
