The Rivulet (formerly Amberley House) is only 2 km from historic Battery point and vibrant Salamanca Square and 3 km from Constitution Dock. Everything. We even went next door and watched a cricket game.

For visitors looking to embark on day trips to nearby landmarks, Mariner Rose B&B provides a selection of packed lunches. The room was well equipped and you almost felt like beeing at home. Breakfast was excellent, location was quiet, yet in walking distance to restaurants.

The bathroom is enormous. We very much appreciated the comfortable bathtub after spending the day cycling 25km on Maria Island. Having stayed at The Tasman in a "luxury suite" for two nights the Barracks is more luxurious in comparison. The best of all, the hosts very patiently detailed their journey of restoring the Barracks which is fascinating and inspiring. Needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend anyone to experience the hospitality of the Barracks.

At the bed and breakfast, each unit has bed linen and towels. The breakfast was so delicious. Nina is so sweet and lovely. The bed was so comfortable. Absolutely would stay again. Couldn’t recommend more.

For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. We loved the little studio, it was really comfy. Perfect for a night on the road. Some impressive cliffs, beautiful at sunrise, only 150m from there. Everything was comfy and there was even a small pack for breakfast with bread, butter, jam, peanut butter, ... nice touch. The facilities are of great comfort. Additionally, the hosts have great knowledge of the region and can provide less-known tips for hiking trails, restaurant tips and other activities around Strahan. They are also quite knowledgeable about the history of the place, there is a huon pine tree in the nice gardens of the house and the "Honesty-bar" has a very good selection of wines from mainland Australia and especially Tasmania.

Located in Barrington and only 23 km from Devonport Oval, Barrington Church B&B provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. The accommodation features a spa bath. The property features barbecue facilities and outdoor furniture. We love meeting Robert and Taco 🦜 (he is such a good boy). It was such a cozy and warm room, and we had a fresh baked bread for breakfast, we love the location and we are definitely coming back.
