The quiet and remote countryside location, view of the mountains, close to the fjord and beach. The property and staff are wonderful. I would stay here again the next time I visit the Westfjords.

A hotel in paradise. Located very close to Flateyri, it is a charming little hotel with even more charming staff. We arrived very late but the hotel made everything in the dining room kitchen available to us so we could prepare dinner with what we had in the car. So we were able to have a wonderful dinner and go to rest. Beautiful, clean and comfortable for the traveler. Taking care of all the details and that is very appreciated. Thank you for such a nice experience

Great location with mountain views and very quiet. Has a hot tub and small beach by the Fjord. Has a big lounge area with comfortable seating and a big breakfast room. Breakfast was continental with a good choice. Our room was small but clean and comfortable with a mountain view. The bathroom / shower was good. Great location for Northern lights if the conditions are right.

Great value for money. It was cheap, easy to find, a great spot to spend one night while travelling around the Westfjords. Breakfast was fine, didn't meet any staff but everything was quite self-explanatory.

Very fair value for money. The rooms are basic but bright and clean, with a comfortable bed, and of a good size for a short stay. The hotel is brand new and well maintained. OK breakfast selection. Note: Ground floor rooms are very exposed to the street, book a higher floor for greater privacy. Flateyri is a charming village. Plentiful free parking available. Good restaurant just down the road.

It is very remote but charming, warm and calm. The perfect spot to breathe and releaxe during our tours through the westfjords. We felt welcome, as if we stayed with friends. I would recommend and we definitely will come back.

it is sooo charming! beautiful place with a real soul. a nice living room to chill in the evening. Great breakfast! Quietness around. close to a super cool place to eat out (Vagninn). bathroom are shared but nice bathtub and good shower (2 bathrooms for 3 bedrooms so really good ratio). The owner receives you nicely with small chocolates, he takes the time to show you around and lets you know about the family history.

Great host, fantastic view outside and the place is full of charm and history. The town is small and quiet which is great to rest after a long day in the fjords.
