This place was so lovely. Quirky and eclectic, clean and comfortable. The owners were warm and friendly and very helpful and the bookshop downstairs was just magical. Flateyri itself is such a beautiful little town.

We arrived very late but the hotel made everything in the dining room kitchen available to us so we could prepare dinner with what we had in the car. So we were able to have a wonderful dinner and go to rest. Beautiful, clean and comfortable for the traveler. Taking care of all the details and that is very appreciated. Thank you for such a nice experience

Has a hot tub and small beach by the Fjord. Has a big lounge area with comfortable seating and a big breakfast room. Breakfast was continental with a good choice. Our room was small but clean and comfortable with a mountain view. The bathroom / shower was good. Great location for Northern lights if the conditions are right.

The rooms are basic but bright and clean, with a comfortable bed, and of a good size for a short stay. The hotel is brand new and well maintained. OK breakfast selection. Note: Ground floor rooms are very exposed to the street, book a higher floor for greater privacy. Flateyri is a charming village. Plentiful free parking available. Good restaurant just down the road.
