Casa Luz del Sur is a lovely bed and breakfast, perfect when you just want to relax by the swimming pool and have a good night of sleep on a comfortable bed in the countryside! The host, Pieter, welcomed us (my wife and me) in the afternoon for the check-in, and while always around and ready to provide information on what to do in Alhaurín El Grande (ask for the list of restaurants!), is very discrete, polite and friendly. Our recently renovated room was beautifully decorated, with a large double bed and a modern bathroom (with a great shower!), and has a coffee and tea machine. The swimming pool is big enough for the five rooms of the B&B, with more than enough sunbeds that are far from each other for privacy. The "honesty bar", where guests can help themselves and register what they consume, is well-equipped with snacks (chips, cheese pate, olives, fuet...), beers, wines and liquors, and is adjacent to a cozy lounge by the swimming pool. The highlight of course is the breakfast: every morning, Pieter bakes different breads and cakes, which are available in the buffet that features also homemade jams, cheeses from the neighboring cheese producer, many different fruits, boiled eggs (and if you ask nicely Pieter will even make scrambled eggs!), coffee (espresso, latte, cappuccino...), orange juice, homemade smoothies - well, the list of products available for breakfast goes on and on, and they are all of excellent quality! We really loved it! We would definitely go back in the future!

This property was quite exceptional. The hosts could not do enough for you. The decor was beautiful with an eye for detail. It was super clean. Rene & Paul welcomed us with a drink & let us know everything to do/see. Breakfast was delicious especially the homemade lemon curd from their own lemon trees! I cannot fault our stay & wish we had longer. We will be back to Casa Limón 🍋

Mark is a great host who created an amazing little stay in the rolling hills of Andalucia. The rooms are brand new and well equipped with a confy bed and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was served freshly on the terrace with a great view in the morning. Great location to explore the area around Malaga. As there are only two rooms, everything has a very personal touch. Mark is always available to provide help or recommendations for trips and tours in the area. The garden and pool area are great to enjoy the sun and landscape, unfortunately the weather wasn't too good while we stayed. Overall, I can fully recommend this place!
