The owners are fantastic and are very kind. The location was beautiful with a gorgeous view at breakfast. The room was large with plenty of space and the breakfast delicious and usually had a traditional albanian side to try. Just a note it is up a steep hill so if your hard of walking this may not be the stay for you, however also don't let that put you off as the entire old town area is on step hills

The host Maria was very kind and attentive. She welcomed us in front of the property and showed us our room. The property is in the Old city and very close to the Bazaar and all the restaurants, cafeteria and historic sites in Gjirokaster. We've had an amazing time and I truly recommend Maria and her lovely house.

Wow! This place is definitely worth a visit! Joana is an amazing host that ensures that her guests get the best possible stay at her guest house located high up on the hillside. The rooms are incredibly cozy that fits really well into the town's atmosphere. In the morning she prepares traditional Albanian breakfast, enjoyed with the beautiful view over the mountains and Gjirokaster castle. Highly recommend to stay here!

The place is adorable! Maria the owner gave us a warm welcome, set with us to explain every thing about the city and made us feel at home! the place is beautiful with a spectacular view over the city and fortress! the location is great close to the center and the fortress. the breakfast was good and we enjoyed it looking at the city :) The room was a part of a shared apartment and we had our private bathroom and shower, but you feel like you're visiting a family so you don't mind that it's shared :) Very important - it's a bit difficult to get there with GPS, I would recommend to get close to the place (about 300m) and than look at the place on Google Maps and try to get to the point just from looking at the map and not using the navigation, because it'll take you through small and slippery roads. Overall we had a great time over there! Thank you Maria!

The rooms are very comfortable, modern and Clean, although our room was a bit claustrophobic because of the slanted ceiling. Also we did not have a balcony, but it was compensated to us by a tiny terrace we could use along the stairway. This started to be problematic when we needed to dry our swimsuits and the host did not like the aesthetic of that since other guests are also passing through this area. This could be solved in a better manner. Otherwise, The host is overall nice and speaks English so well. She lives downstairs with her parents and a tiny baby, so anytime you need something, she is available. The location is good. Not to far from anything you would want to explore in Gjirokaster. Closest restaurants and shops are about 100m away from the facility.

    When they bring their room description and booking management in order it's totally recommendable. I'd booked a 20m² room with sofa, balcony and view but got a 14m² room without none of it. A bit disappointing. Apart from that I have only words of praise left. A charming family owned place with only four rooms. Tastefully restored with quality materials. Spotless clean. A nice cosy patio. Good and quiet location just 5 min.s walk from the bustling Old city center. Very kind and welcoming reception.

    Ernest and his family were very kind hosts, ready to help us whenever needed. The place is even better in real then shown in the pictures: very comfortable and clean room, cosy terrace in the shadow to enjoy a drink or a very tasty homemade breakfast. As it gets hot in summer you can enjoy the small swimming pool. The hotel is in a great location: right in the city centre and near main attractions of Gjirokastër but in a quiet street.

    Great hosts! They helped me with everything: guided me to the location and parking from the very entrance to the town, allowed late check-in (23:00), warmed up the room (cold season — but the room was very warm on my arrival), provided additional blankets, etc. Also, great location – very balanced, close to all main sightseeings in the town. one of the few hotels with private parking. The room was cozy, nice, and clean. Very cool place to stay in this wonderful town, you will feel like a very desired guest.

    Everything is perfect...the location near the city centre and the castle,the warm room with a perfect city view, the delicious breakfast with fresh products and especially homemade jams. 😊 Perfectly clean. Our favourite accommodation in Albania. Quiet area, free private parking and we feel very happy to know such a nice staff. We highly recommend this guesthouse!

    The property is located right in the city center, so everything you have to see is within a few-minute walk. Just note that it might get a bit loud in the evening, but the music will get quiet closer to 11 pm. The room is very spacious and has a private bathroom. The host was very friendly and helpful and gave us some useful recommendations - he also spoke very good English. The breakfast is included and was very tasty and full.
