Ellen & Marcel were great hosts and are offering a really nice and cozy room at a great location. The room had everything we needed for some relaxing days near the dutch coast: a comfy bed, a modern bathroom, a fridge, a kettle and even a microwave. We noticed, how remarkably clean the room was when we arrived. The room is located in a vacation park, which means that you can also use the ammenities available there. Additionally a supermarket is also reachable within walking distance. We were able to reach the beach in less than 10 minutes, which was also really nice, especially in the evening. The bus, which brings you to the center of Den Haag in about 30 minutes, was operating quite frequently. A special highlight every morning was the carefully assembled breakfast, that we were able to order from our hosts.

What we especially liked was the large living room with the kitchen. And you can rent bicycles, there are six of them. The surrounding of the house is distinctly pleasant, you can also use the garden - in the company of hens and sheep. There were only three of us, but I can imagine a much larger group to have an excellent time in this property. And last but not least - Paulette is a fantastic host.

The room overlooks farmland, including tulip fields. It is very peaceful. The room I chose was on the ground floor with easy access to wheel my large suitcase in and out. It was nice to have glass doors opening onto the farmland view with two chairs for relaxing. Inside, it was spotlessly clean. There was a large bed. I slept very well. There were also two armchairs and two desk chairs, which enabled the countertop to be used. I liked that there was a fridge with water and soft drinks. There was a coffee machine and kettle, which were also well supplied with tea and coffee. The shower room was large and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The hair dryer was efficient. There was a mirror which was demisted. The wardrobe was a good size for hanging clothes. Breakfast was amazing. There were plates of fruit, jams, spreads, cereal, sprinkles, slices of ham, and cheese. There were several types of bread, croissants, and homemade brownies. The yoghurt was delicious. The family stayed to make sure you had plenty of hot drinks and juice. The cappuccino was tasty. The family was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed for a wonderful holiday.
