This is a lovely locally owned/managed small guest house. It is run by Sudeka and his family who are from the area. Great attention has been paid to every little detail and it is the simplicity that makes the place so special. We came for the safari and it was close enough to the park so getting there was not an issue. I look forward to returning and doing the Tuk Tuk safari that they offer of the birds and crocs! It’s a great time to support small businesses in Sri Lanka!

Kingfisher Beach Resort -Yala está en Kirinda, a 2 min a pie de Playa de Nidangala, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Beautiful house in a divine environment, you just hear the sound of the waves and the peacocks! Shehan the owner is super super nice and he became a friend he is a warm and giving host and a wonderful cook!

Treasure Rock está a pocos pasos de Playa de Nidangala y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. I did not stay here while in Kirinda due to limited space (the owner and I connected on Whatsapp and he helped in finding me another property nearby) but most of the people in my group did. I wanted to write a review based on my experience with the property and the communication with the host when they realized that they were double booked. We had dinner for 16 there and it was amazing. The Host family is great and the property is in an amazing location. My friends that stayed there loved it. It’s a little bit more expensive than some of the other options but from what I could see it’s worth it!
