The care of the owner was beyond expectations, we got good advice for moving around the area and the breakfast was great, and flexible in terms of schedules. Special care was taken for the enjoyment of the our teenagers. We stayed in a family room, the room was just right for our needs and the balcony had stunningl view of the lake. Difficult to catch a taxi to leave Varenna to Lecco for onward train to Milano. Laura was kind enough to order a taxi for us. Clean and quiet room. Excellently located very close to the pier - good when raining.

Also the view was amazing, you could see the mountain and it was pretty close to the train station and the lake. It is a very quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe every hour of the day. I would definately recommend it to spend vacation there!

The apartment was lovely and centrally located in the middle of Ballagio, steps from the restaurants and shops but quiet inside. The best part were the hosts Christian and Valeria who were very kind and helpful.
