The hotel is very cozy, and they serve huge breakfasts with fresh food. Great location, a lot of sights are within a walking distance, public transport is very close too. The main highlight of Menar Hotel for us was its staff! Everyone is so attentive and friendly, my sister and I felt very welcome there! No request of ours was left unanswered. When it was raining outside, they gave us an umbrella. They also provided a city map, and gave very valuable recommendations on where to go, and what to avoid. At Emir's advice we went to the Egyptian bazaar to buy Turkish delight, everything there was so fresh and delicious! We didn't see Emir at the check-out, but he gave us Turkish coffee as a gift through his colleague, such a nice gesture. Unfortunately, I don't know everyone's names, but they were all so lovely! My sister and I are very thankful, you guys made our stay at Menar very special!

We have stayed in a lot of hotels in İstanbul, this one is absolutely the best so far. Staff is friendly, rooms are exactly the same as described. Cleanliness is immaculate. Location is perfect, long story short, you must try this hotel.

There were so many little touches that made the place special: baklava and Turkish delight in the room, face masks and hand wipes, beautiful decor, etc. It was a delightful place to stay and we wish we had longer than one night. Mustafa and his colleagues were incredibly welcome and helpful for our planning. From getting to breakfast, helping haul our heavy bags around, and arranging a hamam last minute, we felt so cared for.

Situated in the heart of the Istanbul, its location couldn't be more convenient for exploring the vibrant streets and historic landmarks. Despite its prime location, the price was surprisingly affordable, offering excellent value for money. What truly set this hotel apart was the warmth and hospitality of the staff, particularly Omar. His friendly demeanor and engaging conversation added a personal touch to my experience, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. You'll find everything you need for a memorable stay, from the unbeatable location to the exceptional service. I'll certainly be returning on my next trip to this enchanting city.

It was comfortable and close to the city center, too. Neighborhood is very quiet in the night compared to the other part of streets. You can enjoy the sunrise above the beach every morning, which is in a walking distance from the building.

Upon arriving at the Bender Hotel, we were welcomed by Ahmet who brought in our very heavy luggage. He also allowed us an early check in. The bathroom and bedroom was clean and the tea and coffee bar was topped up daily. The room was cleaned and made up daily. The breakfast was standard but we were still able to have a filling breakfast daily. The staff at the Bender Hotel were amazing and assisted us with whatever questions we had, the reception staff were always pleasant and went the extra mile. The cleaning staff were kind and even left extra toiletries when we had run out. On the 1st of January we were surprised with a little gift which just added that extra touch. The hotel is situated very conveniently just a 5 minute walk away from from Hagia Sophia, the blue mosque and Topkapi museum. The restaurants on the road are amazing and a must try. A big thank you to the staff of the Bender Hotel for making our stay in Istanbul comfortable.
