highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

This place is like no other place. The common hall is furnished like a room in the palace of the British kingdom. A huge bedroom and private bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything, including fruit, and fresh cakes. I did not meet Daniel, only his mother Sally, a sympathetic and special woman who took care of every problem and the pleasant The stay in the place in an exceptional way with helpful tips.

Location was excellent in relation to shops, restaurants and waterfront. The apartment was roomy with everything necessary to relax and enjoy our stay. Breakfast of our choice was served to our door every morning. Fabulous selections for breakfast. Staff was incredibly helpful.

Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

The property was very easy to access from the main road around the island. Parking was available. A car is necessary but, in my opinion, a car is necessary on the island. The property had everything we needed. We were very lucky to have use of a washing machine!

The stay in Casa da Graça was absolutely perfect. Sergio and Vania are amazing hosts! Everything was very well arranged, and if you needed help with anything, Vania and Sergio were always there. The breakfast was also very good. Plenty of delicious food! The rooms were big, bathrooms were clean and good. The presence of airconditioning in the room is a big plus! Also, the windows can be closed with shutters (on the inside). This way, the room is completely dark and perfect for those that need darkness to sleep well. Casa da Graça is very close to everything in the city. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, ... are just a little walk away.

The property has perfect location. It has everything one can need for a few days stay. The host - Paula - is very friendly. Check-in at night (which was important for us) went smooth and wasn't a problem. I highly recommend this place!
