highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

This place is like no other place. The common hall is furnished like a room in the palace of the British kingdom. A huge bedroom and private bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything, including fruit, and fresh cakes. Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

The flat comes prepared with everything one could need: welcome basket, all the cooking, washing, cleaning and shower supplies. The apartment is so big that it could house a whole family for a prolonged period of time. Not too far away from the beach and close to the highway for your day trips around São Miguel. Superb!

The stay in Casa da Graça was absolutely perfect. Sergio and Vania are amazing hosts! Everything was very well arranged, and if you needed help with anything, Vania and Sergio were always there. The breakfast was also very good. Plenty of delicious food! The rooms were big, bathrooms were clean and good. The presence of airconditioning in the room is a big plus! Also, the windows can be closed with shutters (on the inside). This way, the room is completely dark and perfect for those that need darkness to sleep well. Casa da Graça is very close to everything in the city. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, ... are just a little walk away.

The property has perfect location. It has everything one can need for a few days stay. The host - Paula - is very friendly. Check-in at night (which was important for us) went smooth and wasn't a problem. I highly recommend this place!
