I've never been more welcomed anywhere in my 7 years of traveling as I was at Bongs. They are a very genuine and caring family. It's right at the peer. It's a hotspot for the locals and local business owners. It's not a luxury spot by any means, but their service, their food and their hospitality is excellent. I will surely visit again. The tent is very big and has a comfortable big bed. The view of the ocean is incredible! I liked the portable fan available every night. The pool table was fun. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very sweet hostfamily, super helpful and friendly. Amazing garden and great vibes, clean accommodation and free water refill. The placing of the guesthouse is great close to the beach and restaurants, but still quiet at night.

Firstly, the location is fantastic. The bungalows are a super short walk from the Orchid Pier. Secondly, the staff is so nice and welcoming. Thirdly, they give you a 20 liter jug of water that you can use for drinking water (this is all included). The beds were comfortable, the fan worked great, and the mosquito net did it's job. While there is no restaurant on site, several nice places to eat are a short stroll away. After staying at the more "luxury" places along the beach during previous stays on the island, we felt more at home and more comfortable at Sunny Bungalows.

The room we had on the ground floor was lovely - aircon, mosquito net, robes and towels provided. We had an issue with mosquitos in the bathroom of the room and straight away they sprayed our room and have give incense to ward off the little buggers! The breakfast they offer is second to none - absolutely massive portions so you won’t need any lunch! Was a great experience - thank you!! Wish we could have stayed longer.

We spent just one night at this hotel, but it was enough to appreciate its charms. Our bungalow was comfortable, clean, and nestled in a wonderfully quiet location. It's the kind of place where you could easily imagine staying longer for a peaceful retreat.

Mela and Ian are excellent hosts, very sweet and attentive. The guesthouse is located on a quieter part of the village but still very close to the beach and everything else around. The rooms are simple, yet very comfortable. They serve some amazing dumplings, some of the best that I have ever eaten, and they are also very cheap. I've really enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to come back someday.
