The staff were extremely lovely and accommodating. We travelled with our 1yo son and everything was prepared for him in the room. We loved the breakfast set up - it’s served in a beautiful winter garden next to their orchard. The restaurant is nice and convenient, both for couples and families.

The building is in a beautiful place in the Maremma countryside. The location is perfect for reaching almost all surrounding beaches by car or even (for some of them) by bicycle. At the same time, the place is tranquil and relaxing, far from the noise of crowdy places like Orbetello. Moreover, in the evening, the temperature always cools down, allowing you to sleep with open windows and without AC to enjoy the beauty of the countryside. The owners and the staff are lovely. Barbara and Benedetta will welcome you every morning for breakfast with a smile and a massive variety of handmade cackes, cookies, and local products (chees, ham, fruit, etc.). They are always very friendly, helping customers find and place reservations for local restaurants or attractions. Andrea takes care of the facility and is always ready to solve any problem. If you have an electric car, they also installed a new power plug where you can recharge your vehicle. If you plan to visit the area, it is definitely a top location.

First I would like to thank Roberto for being a very welcoming host taking good care of us like we're family not guests. The place brought us back to our childhood memories with the farm, the fresh food and products, and the beautiful scenery.

We had the loveliest (although much too brief) one night stay at Villa Mariel. It's a wonderful place with an amazing location, very beautiful and peaceful. Matteo and his mother are very warm and lovely hosts. Matteo made dinner reservations for us at one of the seafood restaurants a short 15 minute drive away. We had the best table in the house and the food was delicious! The breakfast was such a treat (and a very generous spread) and we got to taste Matteo's divine homemade orange marmalade. I don't eat meat so Matteo suggested my partner make a sandwich from the remaining prosciutto to take on the road and gave him a bag and napkins. He also allowed us to leave our car parked on site after we had checked out so we could take one more walk on Giannella Playa before driving on to Rome, which was really kind and much appreciated. All in all, we felt so cared for and looked after and we really enjoyed staying there. We can't wait to return!
