Central location, parking lot at the house, everything clean, imaginative and lovingly designed in a historic building, cosy! The kitchen is well equipped, also with everyday necessities ... exceptional: A special drawer with all conceivable spices! You will find various wines and soft drinks (white wine and rosé well chilled!) - the wines at pleasant prices and the soft drinks for free! It was a special pleasure to meet Gisli, the owner: such a warm and lovable man! He personally guided us through the house, the original domicile of his ancestors, and had a lot of interesting things to tell...everything here is exceptional! Note: There is a good bakery and cafe nearby. There is nothing negative to say! This was maybe the best accomodation on our two weeks trip to Iceland.

Amazing views across the water in the dining room and of the mountains in the living room. Great kitchen and excellently stocked with all the basics. The host also made sure to let us know the northern lights might be visible that night...and they were! Right across the road from the community pool/hot spring - with a gorgeous view.
