We had a wonderful stay at Alan’s apartment! The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood with a small creek running behind it. it was an easy walk to a large Co-op grocery store, Balloch County Park and Loch Lomond Shores. It also was a great home base for exploring the Loch Lomond area. The apartment itself was fantastic! it has plenty of room for our family of three. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make all our meals. The washing machine was great and there was a drying rack outside we could use. Alan was so helpful answering questions before the trip and he and his sister were so kind during our stay! We would recommend this apartment to family and friends and would love to stay again as well!

The highlights were definitely the own sauna in the bathroom and the hot tub in a separate little shed across the garden. We had gone to Loch Lomond to hike and these installations were so relaxing for our aching bones. The apartment itself was lovely and cosy and our warm-hearted host Eddie kept enquiring whether we needed anything. A plus were the lovely view and Eddie’s sheep and his two cute dogs. Absolutely recommended!

The location was so incredible, with a Loch-side view, and walking distance from trailheads. Food from the pub below was excellent, too! Our family of 5 had ample room, in comfortable beds. I loved the decor—very modern but cozy. Well-equipped kitchen, stocked with tea and milk. Towels and soap also provided for all rooms, and each room has its own bathroom.
