Really cool room, nice tarrace to sit outside and spacious bathroom, everything was clean and in good condition and the owner is such a lovely and very helpful person! There's a bit of stairs to walk to Positano center which allows to see really pretty views- loved that route.

The view was exceptional. Like nothing I’ve ever see. Before. The photos do not do this place justice! It is incredible beyond words, my partner and I agreed it was the best view of Positano and the ocean you could get in the entire city, and we visited some of the most highly rated restaurants with views and nothing compared to the view from Casa Gilda. Gilda is a beautiful woman who made us feel like family, her daughter who speaks English gave us great recommendations, helped us with bus tickets etc. Gilda cooked us a home made breakfast in the mornings on her terrace which was beautiful and was so lovely to us always! Further, the location is incredible and so much better than staying in town. There is a SITA bus stop 100m down the road which takes you anywhere along the Amalfi coast from Sorrento through to Amalfi town, stopping at beautiful beaches and restaurants along the way which was so convenient. Positano itself is a 10-15min walk along a beautiful coastal road. As well, there is a private walk past a gate from Casa Gilda which you are given keys for that takes you down to Arienzo beach which is amazing with a cute beach club as well. I could not recommend this place enough, they could charge 10x the price, and being on the cheaper side of accommodation in Positano I cannot believe the value for money. Already planning our next trip. Amazing. 11/10.

The staff was amazing we loved seeing and talking to them everyday. The view from the room was amazing. The amenities were great and everything was clean. Great location, close to the centre and the beach. There's a convenient bus stop right at the bottom of the stairs.

We loved our stay in Positano! The accommodation was well equipped with everything we needed. Our host was exceptionally helpful and gave us fabulous restaurant recommendations and assisted with a reliable transfer/taxi to the airport. Took a huge amount of stress off us. It was divine to have a space to relax with a well equipped kitchen. Nice touches like coffee and milk left for us meant our mornings were always off to a great start! While the house is very high up the hill, we chose to walk all the time, instead of taking the bus.

I just love this place! The property is very spacious and clean. It is very beautiful as well - two balconies with sea sight and mountain sight on each sides. It is very easy to get to with bus - two bus stops are just beside the property one is for Sita bus (come in and get out of Positano) and one for local bus with that you can get around Positano. There are a small grocery store and convenient store beside the property, you can buy all you need for your staying - simply breakfast, bus tickets....I even dropped my post card in the convenient store. The host is very nice and helpful - We got off the bus and went to wrong direction. The host told us to stay on the point and came to meet us which means a lot to us.

The area had three marts close by so cooking at the flat was easy by these close by accommodations. The view of the mountain side homes lit up at night is spectacular. There is not a clear view of the Positano beach. But you can see the water off in the distance since you are elevated quite high.

Breakfast items left, pastries, coffee, juice, water etc. a very nice touch and lovely to have on the terrace in the morning. Spotlessly clean too. We had to ring host when we arrived but someone met us at gate within few minutes.A_SIreland
