Amazing place to stay on Santorini. Loved the location - having a private beach far away from the tourist crowds. Restaurant within a short walk. The rooms were unique and had a great charm. The greatest thing about the hotel is the owning family. They were very helpful and they guided our activities through out our stay. Their guidance made the trip 10 times better. In addition, the property it self is very nice and clean. It contains everything you would think of.

When I visited Thira (Santorini) last year, I fell in love with the less crowded parts. So, determined to come back and stay in a quieter part, I booked Acrothea Suites and Villas in Akrotiri. It is typical Kikladhic architecture, very, very close to the center of town, near to Red Beach, and an amazing breakfast brought to your room every morning. They are generous as they are kind. Also, the rooms facing the caldera are tops. Note: they face the caldera; they are not on the caldera like all the famous Instagram photos. Extremely great value.

The quad bikes and volcanic tours were organized as per our needs. The hotel transfer was also provided. This was very helpful. Very nice restaurant right in front of the door!

Epifanio and his daughter went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. They arranged for us to have a (free) pick up/drop off service from our hotel to a wonderful nearby restaurant and back on our first night there, they helped us rent an ATV at a great price, and even drove us to the shuttle to catch our ferry when it was time to leave. The hotel itself was beautiful, with a lovely pool area overlooking the Caldera. We could see Fira and Oia from our room/the pool. Breakfast was excellent and differed each day. Kitchen staff was happy to accommodate specific requests. Rooms were spacious. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room was very big with the jacuzzi always ready, full to the top and warm with amazing views of the Caldera. Even though we stay few hours at this place, the people from reception and breakfast lady were extra kind and lovely. We loved this place very much and without any kind of doubt we would book another stay here.

The property was incredible and the jacuzzi was amazing, with beautiful views. I adored this property. Spiros the host was so friendly and helpful in the lead up to my visit, during my visit and during check out, he was outstanding. I couldn’t fault this stay or friendliness of the locals too. The small town of Akrotiri is a short 7 minute walk, please note the walk back is steep but definitely worth a visit for traditional Greek food and culture. The local area is quiet but peaceful. Thanks again for a perfect stay, I can’t wait to stay again in the near future 😊🥰
