La Sardine du Panier® is a recently renovated apartment in the centre of Marseille, 2.6 km from Plage des Catalans and less than 1 km from Joliette Metro Station.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and well organised. The bed and the sofa bed were both very comfortable. The location was very convenient with easy walking access to municipal electric bicycles, shops, bakery, train station, the old port and a host of boutique cafes, restaurants and shops. There was lots of hot water, and no shortage of any bathroom necessities. Communication with the host was excellent, whom I found to be extremely helpful and organised. In particular, I appreciated the detailed information folder which was sent to us as PDF in advance, and also in printed form in the apartment. All in all, a great stay

Jean was the most wonderful, helpful host with brilliant suggestions for our stay in Marseille. He even returned the next day to help us watch France play rugby on the television and gave us excellent advice for our onward journey. Thank you.
