Location was spectacular - RIGHT next to the gorgeous church with the most scenic overlook to the beach, which was only a very short walk down a few stairs. You can see the ocean from the. Alfino of the room. Location was absolutely dreamy. The family that runs the hotel took such good care of us and the beach location we chose to make our “homebase” during our Karpathos stay was stellar. Sophia’s Taverna was exceptional. Everything about this visit exceeded our expectations!!

It was a very good experience. The photos are true to reality. The bed is super comfortable, the apartment is well equipped, quiet (you only hear the sound of the sea) and the beach is a 4 minute walk away. There is parking space and 3 very good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended. It is important to mention that Kyra panagia is a small town and there is no supermarket, you have to drive 25min to the capital for shopping.

Kathrine and Elias welcomed me as if I were a member of their family. I came as a regular visitor and learned about an upcoming yoga teacher training. Kathrine and Elias found a spot for me and it was one of the most formative experiences of my life. I cannot say enough about the commitment, sense of mission, and love which was present in every interaction I had with everyone here. I've never encountered a better place to find bliss and find oneself. I highly recommend coming here for either a regular stay and/or yoga teacher training. It will be one of the best investments of your life, hands-down!

Perfect location with just a 5 minute walk into the city with all the restaurants and bars. The room with sea-view was perfect for our one week getaway. The apartment had two balconies. Both with a nice view at the ocean. The room came with plenty of supplies for cooking. Bread, coffee and other useful stuff is available at the nearby food market.
