We were not sure how to access the keys at first as we had to enter the black door on the south side first. As there is an apartment in the other half of the house we though we would be entering somebodys apartment by opening the doors. But then the key was easy to find and the apartment was perfect for an overnight stay.

The Greyhouse "Big Apartment" is located in Höfn. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport, this guest house offers guest rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. Accommodation was in a long block of rooms using both sides of the building, and each room had electronic door locks, so we were sent the room pin before we got there, and there no need to check-in. The accommodation is new and the room has underfloor heating and a very modern backroom and shower. What we liked is that there is a kitchen area that the guest can use and full use of plates and cutlery inc the microwave and plenty ot tables and chairs. So, there is no need to eat in your room The room was very modern, and the beds were comfy, and the room could get warm, so use the thermostat on the wall to change the temperature. Great place to stay if you want to visit the Glacier ad it's about 1hr feom diamond beach etc. Overall, it was a very good place to stay

İzlanda Çevre Yolu'na sadece 1 km mesafede yer alan bu özel işletilen konukevi, Höfn şehir merkezine 4 km uzaklıktadır. The property has a huge lawn surroudned by trees, which looks beautifully green and also given some protection from the wind. We loved that it was close to Höfn (supermarket, restaurants) but not in the city, so it is is quiet. The room swere very nice and there is a common room (kitchen + table), as well as tables in the garden where we had breakfast. Alternatively, you can also drive to Höfn for a breakfast, but we preferred the quietness on the property for that.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Conveniently located off the ring road, before turning heading on to Hofn. Nice big room. It was located in another building on the site, separate from the reception building. It had a big lounge area which made for a nice place to relax outside fo our room but still in the warmth.

The property itself is immaculate—everything feels brand new and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail in both the common areas and the guest rooms is impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One of the standout moments of my visit was the host's extraordinary kindness. I accidentally left my jacket behind, and without hesitation, she sent it to me at no charge. This level of service and care is truly rare and greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a cozy, clean, and welcoming place to stay with a host who goes above and beyond, look no further. This bed and breakfast is a true gem, and I can't wait to return!
