Even if as an Italian prices in Iceland are quite high for me, I found the price very fair and the service outstanding. Don’t miss your chance to stay at the Básar Guesthouse while on the island. A recently renovated apartment situated in Siglufjörður, Scenic Penthouse - Ocean view & skylight windows features a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi.... So clean and comfortable. Cooked a nice dinner and relaxed after walking around the town. The kitchen had all the basics. The skylights are fun and allowed us to see small/mild northern lights on the night we stayed. Town is small so we could walk all around easily from this apartment. Loved seeing the school children heading out for a hike past the door in the morning.

I stayed at Hotel Siglo with a group of clients. From the moment we arrived until we left we experienced excellence in service and attitude. All rooms were excellent, beds comfortable, good wifi and great breakfast. We had a great time at Hotel Siglo, enjoying the hot pool, sauna, dinner in the restaurant and working in the conference room.
