Loch Ness Lodge, hotel in Drumnadrochit

This elegant and intimate exclusive retreat in the heart of the Scottish Highlands overlooks the mysterious and beautiful Loch Ness.

Loch Ness Lodge is truly beautiful. The sitting rooms downstairs with fireplaces are so inviting. Our room is one of the nicest we've ever stayed in - and we travel for months on end. Gabriel, who greeted us and took us to our rooms, treated us with the utmost care and respect - as we noticed he also did with all the guests. He was personable and professional. We cannot compliment him enough. Breakfast was wonderful, presented by the elegant Sonya. This is a truly magical place to stay.

Highland Bear Lodge & Luxury Bear Huts, hotel in Drumnadrochit

Housed in a historic building, Highland Bear Lodge & Luxury Bear Huts offers accommodations with water sports facilities and free Wifi in Drumnadrochit, 20 miles from Inverness Castle.

Our family had one room in the Highland Bear Lodge and both Bear Huts. First of all, the property is spectacular with lush landscaping, views and just 10-15 minutes to Loch Ness/Urquhart Castle. The room was clean and comfortable with a great continental breakfast in the refrigerator. The Bear Huts were adorable....not so much room for luggage, but really cool! Easy check in/check out. LOVED IT!

Loch Ness Studio Blairbeg, hotel in Drumnadrochit

Loch Ness Studio Blairbeg is located in Drumnadrochit. The studio has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a patio with garden...

The apartment was perfect. It has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, with a gas cooker that I love, it was big enough and also gets warm very fast (it was very cold outside). The hosts very friendly and helpful. It has a private parking also. Only the bed is too small if you are a tall person :) Definitely would recommend this!

    Stayed for one evening.

Stayed for one evening. Staff were rude, place was a glorified shed. Road up was hard work on motorbikes. Too far out of town. Grounds were unkept, Sheds were neglected. Clunebeg too expensive for what it was.

Hotel is very tired and facilities poor. Hairs in bath as well as shampoo/conditioner. Staff were not really customer focused and not available once they had shown us our room, which did not meet expectation.

Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense. For a pretty part of the world it’s a bit scruffy. Very overpriced, Too popular, No bars so you’re ripped off in hotels for a simple drink. Stay elsewhere if you have taste.

Arrived after another day walking the Great Glen Way. The garden was beautiful and I loved being able to sit outside to have my coffee and read my book. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant open due to covid but our host was well prepared for this and provided us with our options for dinner. We went for take away and she kindly set up and cleared table for us to eat. The triple room was beautiful and spacious. You’d think you were in a nice hotel. Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was amazing.

Isabelle and Robert, our hosts at the B&B, were wonderful. They helped us on a couple of things during our stay including accommodating us for an additional night. The property was excellent and the breakfasts that were cooked to order were delicious. The B&B is well positioned in the center of Scotland near Loch Ness making for easy access to the countryside in all directions. My wife and I would highly recommend Woodlands B&B to anyone traveling to Scotland.

Lovely small hotel, quiet at this time of year, between December and new year. Warm friendly staff. Great menu at cafe/restaurant. Cafe closed at 3 pm which is probably seasonal but was able to order pizza for later. Local shop etc and a few takeaways only 10 min walk away. Clean basic room (which I like), with TV and shower over bath. Nice to have a bath, there aren't many places where I have stayed that have a bath as well.

Sarah is a fantastic host, and this is a wonderful place to stay. We felt like we were at home with a living/dining room, full kitchen, patio, spacious bedrooms with separate bathrooms, and a washing machine! This has been a long trip for us so we badly needed clean clothes! The location is easily accessible to Loch Ness. There are also some good places to eat and a small grocery store nearby. We loved our stay here.

Angela our host was terrific. she even offered to drive myself and my wife into town for dinner at the great Fiddlers whisky restaurant and pick us up several hours later in the evening. Angela did everything she could to make our stay relaxing, fun and memorable. There was also a fantastic lounge with great views over Loch Ness which we used in the evening for drinks. We will definitely return for a long stay.

The location was stunning, so close to Loch Ness, it was so peaceful and the lodge was clean, had everything you would want for a self catering holiday, Inverness was close with all the restaurants and take and culture you would hope for, we spend a day at Ben Nevis and we’re blown away with the beauty of the landscape of Scotland. Thank you Simon for meeting us at such a late hour due to a 14 hour trip

Very friendly and accommodating host and hostess. It was like a summer vacation to your favorite cousin's farm. Homey and cozy. The included breakfast was amazingly delicious. Feeding the "Coos" after breakfast was an added bonus to our stay. The property is close to the town, where there are great restaurants and shops. Urquhart Castle just a short drive. Beautiful views of rolling hills and Loch Ness.

Stayed in a room at the bunk inn with our 3 kids, bunks with private bathroom, was all we needed for one night and had everything we needed in the shared kitchen and beautiful river for the kids to play outside while we had a cuppa. Great spot to visit loch ness and the service in the restaurant was fantastic, they catered for us and our kids so kindly.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel restaurant was closed the evening we were there and they organised a table for us with the village restaurant located 100m away (which was excellent). We were upgraded too - which is always a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. A really good breakfast.

Having spent a weekend here before we had no hesitation booking a room again. The menu for the restaurant offers great food and we were stuffed when we left the table. We required to leave for an activity early in the morning and were offered an 'early' full cooked breakfast to set us up for the day.
