Only YOU Hotel Atocha, hotel in Madrid

Set in a 19th-century building, Only You Hotel Atocha is located in Madrid, 150 metres from Madrid-Atocha Train Station. This hotel offers views over the Paseo Infanta Isabel and Calle Alfonso XII.

Very well located hotel, right next to the train station, with modern facilities and very friendly staff. We received the spacious room, very well soundproofed and we benefited from special facilities: hair dryer, hair straightener, makeup removal kit, slippers (1 pair), bathrobe, coffee capsules Nesspreso, teas. Very varied breakfast, adapted for all tastes, even the most refined, completed with a great view over the city from the 7th floor. Congratulations to the hotel managers, cleaning ladies and, especially, to Mr. Florin at the reception, a special, kind, pleasant man and a good professional! Our next visit to Madrid will necessarily include accommodation at Only You Hotel!

The Spanish Soul of Art and Entertainment

Modern Madrid is one of the greenest cities in Europe and the most popular destination in Spain. Whether you want to experience its legendary nightlife or a flamenco show, this is the place to be.

The renowned Museo del Prado holds one of the world’s finest art collections with iconic paintings by El Greco, Velázquez and Goya. For more modern touch, the Museo Reina Sofia houses Picasso’s and Dali’s most respected works.

Start your evening at Puerta del Sol, one of the city’s busiest spots. Make some room in your stomach for great tapas and sangria in La Latina district, south of the city’s most famous plaza, Plaza Mayor.

Real Madrid plays at Santiago Bernabeu and Atlético Madrid competes at Vicente Calderón Stadium, two opportunities that no sports fan will want to miss. The popular Salamanca district is a great place to look for boutique gifts and unique shops.

Thanks to great public transportation system, getting to the city centre from Madrid Barajas International Airport is very easy. Whether you’re looking for luxury hotels, budget hostels or comfy apartments, Booking.com has a perfect place for your Madrid holiday.

Madrid is a beautiful, pedestrian-friendly city. Public areas are extremely clean and well-maintained, as are major tourist sites. We wandered the central city day and night and felt very safe. Spent a total of 14 nights in last 2 weeks of March. We used it as a base to travel to several areas of Spain. So we were not able to see all of Madrid. We did see many of the sights along Gran Via. The variety of restaurants and shops in the central city is great. Had a few days of rain & weather was generally cool. Used both of the big train stations. Quite easy to travel throughout country. WARNING!! DO NOT STAY AT THE “SUITES YOU ZINC” HOTEL / VACATION RENTAL. IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!

Madrid is amazing and we stayed in the Sol area in the center of Madrid in the oldest Palace in Madrid. We walked everywhere and did the hop on, hop off bus to see the highlights of the old part of Madrid. Wasn't east to find the pick-up spot, but we already knew that after reading reviews. The food / beverage was great with plenty of places to enjoy local cuisine and specialty dishes.

The hotel is located just next to the Chamartín train station which is very convenient for me as I made quite a few day trips to small cities / towns north of Madrid. It is far from Madrid city centre but it’s quite easy to take the metro too, so for me it’s not a problem. It has a great outdoor pool despite the water being a bit chilly. The breakfast was fantastic with a lot of varieties, both cold and warm items. The hotel is of very good value for money indeed if you don’t need to live in city centre.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Clean, beautiful, amazing facilities. Location is good, is in the financial center, close to airport and city center. We arrived in terminal 1, we took bus 200 to get to the hotel. Public transport in Madrid by default costs 1.5 EUR(and you can pay cash inside the bus). In order to get to the center we got the bus 53 infront of Cuco’s restaurant which is super close to the hotel and it was super easy to travel around. Highly recommended. Loved it?

As opposed to some of the reviews i read, I found this to be a great close to the airport stay. Some complained about the lack of elevator if you can't carry a bag up a few stairs maybe you should stay at home and the language in Spain is Spanish, learn a few words. There was great places to eat in a park setting just a short walk from hostel. A taxi from or to the airport is €20 so the hotel offers that service free I am 77 and just walked the camino so this stay was perfect

All the staff at the hotel were very nice and friendly , the gentleman who checked us in also gave us some recommendations of good Spanish restaurants nearby, sadly I forgot to get his name. The bar is very nice & so is the swimming pool. The hotel is 2 minutes walk away from the Metro which takes you into Madrid city centre and there are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We parked in their underground carpark which was secure and reasonably priced.

I was traveling for 15 days in Spain and France, and I stayed in 5 stars hotel suite rooms or family rooms in comparison with those luxury 5 stars hotels this apartment was Very clean and was well designed and equipped with high-quality stuff. Refrigerator and washing machines and microwave, everything was in the apartment and all stuff was clean. Air condition worked better than in 5-star well-known hotels. We are very sensitive to cleanliness and it was very clean.

This hotel provided me with exactly what you want for a stay in Madrid. It is in the city centre. Breakfast good also a good restaurant ( other restaurants nearby ) for anyone with a car it has a garage . However , it was cold weather , the room was kept warm but you do not have any way to control it. Room on the 4th floor hot water took a long time to come through . Bathroom a bit cramped for a double (2person) room. Taxi stand just outside is very convenient.

We were not sure about the location since we feared it was far from city centre but we then were very surprised how well connected is with city centre. The hotel is in residential area, quiet and away from the noise of city centre for good sleep but easily connected with metro to main stations, so we really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid!

My score of 3 is based on the following two points: 1) the location is excellent. Near to everything in central Madrid but not quite dead center which means you can escape some of the hustle and bustle by staying here instead of being in Sol or on the Gran Via. 2) the breakfast is good value for money, though the breakfast room is possibly a little small for the size of the hotel.
