The Ferraioli is a charming building from the early 20th century in Atrani, a pretty fisherman's village just outside Amalfi. The themed rooms are named and styled after famous movie actresses.

The staff were really helpful. Breakfast very good. If you are not very agile not ideal as lots of steps to climb.

The location of the property was outstanding. We found the office in Atrani easily after a 10 min walk from Amalfi from the ferry. Luca and another staff member Vincenzo were easy to deal with and check in was easy. Vincenzo then led us up the stairs to our apartment. We knew it was a lot of stairs when we booked but it is worth every step to get the view. A tip would be to bring smaller bags to make it easier. The apartment was well equipped with cooking and laundry facilities which made it easy to cook and wash clothes whilst there. The views are breathtaking and to have your own private terrace to enjoy is another great reason to stay here. The town has a great choice of smaller restaurants, small supermarket and beach but still only 10 min walk into Amalfi for more shops/restaurants and the ferry to anywhere on the Amalfi coast.
We highly recommend this place if you want to escape the crowds but still be close to everything you need.

Excellent location that's very clean and provides parking for an extra fee. Breakfast was included, which was nice. They had a nice assortment of options and a lovely breakfast area. Staff are friendly and helpful! The views are nice depending on the room you have. Lots to do in the area as well. The hotel offers a private beach but we didn't ask if it was available or pay extra for a chair/umbrella as it didn't seem to be available yet given it was spring when we traveled to this location.
Rooms are nice! You have to request extras like a kettle, for example.
Overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, family-run Il Barilotto offers air-conditioned rooms with a terrace and sea views. Located 4 km from Positano, it comes with free Wi-Fi.

Very close to beach and also bus stop for Amalfi. We were stuck at Vietri Sul mare and hotel staff sent a taxi to pick us up, and we are forever grateful to them. There was a road block so bus routes were diverted and the bus never came at the bus stop, we waited for 3 hours and called the hotel staff and got help.
This was our second visit to Atrani, we love it. Out of the hustle and bustle of Amalfi but just a ten minute walk to get there. The piazza in Atrani has a good selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Swimming is at hand and very safe. It is such a beautiful little town, its locals are friendly and will answer any questions. Note, the Sidi bus schedule does not run to normal schedule on public holidays like All Saints’ Day. Information around public transport can be difficult to find out so do your research before leaving home.

Atrani is away from the crowds, but close enough to walk to some of the other villages. The buses went straight past the apartment or you could catch from Amalfi. The restaurants in Atrani are fabulous, Savo and A'Paranza were our favourites. The little shops in the Square provided fruit, fish, bread, water, drinks and there was a fabulous little gelati shop. But most of all we loved a little cafe that we went to every afternoon for drinks, that was right on the water. Bar Nettuno is run by Andrew and is a great spot to chill out and watch the boats come and go.

The area falls in the centre of Amalfi.
The area falls in the centre of Amalfi. Everything was really close from here. Surroundings were very pretty and touristy as well. Location was perfect :) just sad that we only found Italian cuisine here. (since I’m a vegetarian ) so got a bit tired of eating pastas and pizzas for every meal :(

Atrani is a little town well located to amalfi. It has a beach but you can also got to the amalfi by walk. There is a tunnel between amalfi and atrani 900 meters long. and also atrani has a little square includes market, bar, restoran. And also there is a michelin guided restoran there. we have experienced and it was really lovely.

We arrived in Salerno from Rome.
We arrived in Salerno from Rome. We thought we would be able to get a taxi/Uber to Atrani, but there were not any available. The easiest way was to take the ferry, which took about 35 minutes and it was a pretty view during the ride!
Leaving Atrani, we took van early in the morning and the winding roads made two of our three kids car sick, so the ferry is way to go if possible and is way cheaper.
Overall, Atrani was good and we enjoyed our time there. Most restaurants do not open for dinner until around 19:30, so if you have young kids it is good to keep in mind! It is easy to walk around throughout Almafi and Atrani.

Atrani is the best stay for an Amalfi coast trip.
Atrani is the best stay for an Amalfi coast trip. It’s walking distance to the buzzing and touristy Amalfi, but it’s quiet, local, and quaint. There are amazing restaurants a cute beach and all you need while still being close and connected to the rest of the coast. I really recommend it.
Geanluca is a phenomenal and caring owner! The place is beautiful in a great location! Every detail is thought out. Overlooking the town square. Steps from food, the beach and a 5 min walk to the hustle and bustle of Amalfi town. Loved staying there. Preferred Atrani over the Positano zoo!! Don't get me wrong, Positano is beautiful, but insanely busy and absurdly expensive for Heaven knows why... Too many people on an overcrowded beach. The scenery is nice, but we got more out of Amalfi.
Our stay at MaFre was amazing. Sonia is such a lovely and thoughtful host, and she made our stay so enjoyable. The B&B itself was clean and comfotable, with a lovely balcony view of Atrani where we got to enjoy our breakfast each morning. We loved the location in Atrani (a short 10 minute walk along the beautiful coastline from Amalfi) as it was less touristy while still so close to all the action. We would highly recommend staying here, and will definitely be back in the future!
Sapore de Sale is beautiful, well thought out accommodation and is exactly as the pictures appear. Giuseppe has paid careful attention to ensuring all aspects of the accommodation make visitors feel comfortable and at home. He was a friendly and delightful host and lovely to chat to. If you are keen to escape the insane busyness of Amalfi and Positano, Atrani is an authentic place to do so and Sapore de Sale was perfect for relaxing. Great restaurants on the square too.
Spacious apartment with a very good location in Atrani with a beautiful view from the roof terrace. I loved this town with an authentic Italian feel to the side of busy Amalfi while being only a 15 minute walk through the pedestrian tunnel to the port of Amalfi. Near a pleasant local beach and a short distance from Lido di Ravello beach. We were here in September, which was a very pleasant, not very busy time.
Charming small hotel in lovely Atrani, just 10 minutes walk from the very crowded and touristy Amalfi. Nice old world decoration, modern bathroom, comfy bed to be lulled into sleep by the sound of the waves. Proprietor very helpful with flexible check in when our transport plans changed, and responded quickly to messages about this and directions.
The location is fantastic. You could walk to amalfi via tunnel. the host is lovely and accessible. even drove us to the port on our last day without a fee. Atrani is not touristy, which is unlike Positano and Capri. Wi-Fi was fine, air conditioning was excellent in the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend.
The views from the patio were stunning. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hostess was friendly, easy to get ahold of and helpful. The location was perfect and we enjoyed staying in quieter Atrani over Amalfi though we walked back and forth daily which was easy. Highly recommend staying here!
Amazing location few minutes still to Atrani and Amalfi. Fabulous views for a nice drink end of day or early coffee, fantastic hostess Irene who was super helpful and helped us book a boat etc. very welcoming leaving us some pasta, bread etc to make our arrival day easier. Would 100% recommend and come back!
The stay was amazing! One of the best places we ever stayed at! Surely, the terrace and the view were superb (as described in other reviews), perhaps one of the best views on Atrani. The apartment itself is also very nicely decorated, has an AC. The host was extremely nice and helpful too!
Amazing retired couple hosting the apartment. Clean and very comfortable. Brought back memories of staying at my Nonna's place in Toronto when I was a child. Best nights sleep during my trip! Woke up Sunday to full orchestra band playing in the piazza. Wonderful Atrani experience.
Everything about Amalfi and Atrani was great. Would recommend it 10 out of 10. The owner is friendly and we even received as a gift a bag of lemons :)
The apartment is nice and modern, it is quite easy to reach it and to reach Amalfi. Maybe a 10 minute walk to Amalfi, even less.
Casapa was absolutely amazing. So modern with all the facilities you could possibly need. It is a 10 minute walk from Amalfi so away from all the crowds. The locals in the square were very friendly. Especially the restaurant downstairs. Atrani beach was lovely
The hotel itself has a small elevator, however, there is a lot of stair climbing to get to the hotel entrance. There is a huge fee to go less than half a mile from the ferry stop to the hotel. The breakfast was fine. the rooms are decorated like the 70’s.
We absolutely loved our room here! The hotel was in a quiet location, very close to Atrani beach and walking distance to Amalfi. Much less touristy and authentic. Staff were lovely and very accomodating
We stayed for 2 nights and it was very clean and comfortable! The hosts were super nice and welcoming. Location was great, about 5 mins walk to restaurants and beach and 10-15 mins walk to Amalfi town!
