Afyon for me is just a "pit-stop". Shopping or resting by the night. Can't say too much but it seems to be a decent town with decent people. Anyway, I might recommend the shopping center (including food and beverage locations) and I might not recommend the Burger King (across the street).

Afyon is rich in history, from the Hittites to the First World War when British and other prisoners of war were held there.
It boasts many historic mosques including the Selçuk era Ulu Cami with its many wooden pillars.
The castle atop its crag looms over the entire city and is worth the climb for the view it affords.
Many of the old houses at the foot of the crag have been restored in recent years, some are open to the public as museums or restaurants.
The food in Afyon is justly famous. Visitors should not leave without trying "Manda Kaymağı" - a sort of clotted cream made with the milk from water buffalo.
I saw the good point on the booking.com for comfortability and cleanness, but the not good point for the breakfast.
On the contrary, cleanness was not good (especially in hamam, but the breakfast was not bad.
Also my husband ordered omlet (it would be cost 20 Turkish lira) but a woman in the front desk didn't charge for it. She said it's on us.
I choose this hotel because of the spa but it was very poor, not worth to choose.
Still the staff in the front desk, kitchen and bellboy was very friendly and nice.

Hotel room was very clean with all the basics we needed. Breakfast was delicious and they also provide dinner too. Wow!
Also Osman was such a gift with his English skills. He helped clarify everything for us. Also this hotel is a great deal and very satisfactory for the basics.
Everything is great in this hotel. The room was extra confortable, the buffet for breakfast, tea time and dinner amazing and very qualitative, the SPA facilities are great and the staff very professional and nice. We had such a lovely relaxing stay, we will come back!
The best open buffet food in a hotel I have experienced. The thermal was very clean, smell of towels to facilities, everything was extraordinary. The staff were very good and caring for their guests wellbeing. Incredible experience in mainland Türkiye.
Ideal for night stop while traveling through Turkey by car. The price was excellent and it included dinner and breakfast. If traveling around Turkey again and looking for a one night stop to take a rest, would definitely come back.
Very quite. Very comfortable. I stayed 1 night as rest point. They offered me river view which i liked it.
