Lovely town on the North Coast to base yourself for all the excursions around. Fantastic beaches and plenty of good food places. Weather can change at a moments notice with sun, rain and the wrath of the Atlantic all in a day, come prepared. If you golf there are excellent golf courses.

As long as weather is good there is no better place to be than at Portrush. The beaches the food the pubs all great and the people always make you welcome.
General shopping would be limited however, but in reality when you go to portrush your not really wanting to shop.

I scheduled in Portrush because of a visit to Giants Causeway. I was pleasantly surprised with the city. It is a very clean upscale beach town. My only regret is not realizing The Harbour bar was also a restaurant. We did end up eating in a more trendy "European" restaurant and did not discover Harbour Bar until after dinner. As a traveler from the US, I would have preferred the old friendly feeling to The Harbour Bar and wish it popped up in a search for restaurants on Google.

A familu friendly place and very welcoming.
A familu friendly place and very welcoming. Plenty to do, with the beach, currys amusements and shops and cafes. The Jet centre and the giants causeway was a short drive and portstewart close by. Lovely place.

Portrush is a very busy wee town.
Portrush is a very busy wee town. It is especially good for families with plenty for all ages to do. 2 lovely beaches, a fair ground and lots of large gaming places. Our favourite place is the Arcadia café.
Our hotel is situated nearer to Portrush, however, we liked the relative quietness of Portstewart.
So, Portrush is great for families and not quite so good for over 60s.

Nice place to stay because there is railway station.
Nice place to stay because there is railway station. Moreover it is very close to all main attractions in Northern Ireland ( Beach near Downhill, Giants Caseway, Dunluce Castle, Carrick -a- Rede, etc. ) So the location is very convenient for travelling.
We had nice walk along the beach ( very wide an d clean ). And we had delicious dinner near the sea side restaurant.

Our whole experience was wonderful.
Scott helped with our luggage and provided us with much appreciated beer after a long days drive. The location is great - near the train station and easy parking.
Room was very spacious and well appointed - even waters next to the bed. It was quiet and we slept great. Scott cooked a great breakfast and was very helpful to talk to about sights in the area.
We decided to pay for a larger room as the price was so good and were pleasantly surprised when we were given the best room in the hotel. Extra large room with floor to ceiling windows and an outstanding view across to Royal Portrush Golf course. My husband was in heaven. Staff were super friendly and attentive. We stayed for 2 nights, would highly recommend this hotel.
Everything!! Exceptionally clean, amazing facilties. This was a last minute booking for my husband and I and our first away from our 5 year old son. All Seasons exceeded expectations. As a family, at the beginning of April we actually stayed 3 days in a hotel in Portrush and compared to All Seasons, it was a hovel!!!
Nice hotel for the price in this area! A 5 min taxi ride takes you to the main street in Portrush, which the hotel was able to advise us on. Rooms a little dated, but overall clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good! Highly reccommend if you are looking somewhere to stay in Portrush without the expense!
It was as small hotel. The staff were very helpful and gave good customer service offer was made to help which was 4 flights of stairs given age of building and size a lift wasn't feasible but we managed room was comfortable very comfortable with full mod cons really impressed with breakfast as well
The location was excellent, and easy street parking was available.
The apartment was of a very high standard, comfortable beds, great shower, and well equipped kitchen. Great for all ages, lift and stairs to the apartment. Even being in the centre of Portrush, we weren't disturbed by noise at all.
All Seasons had a good location, a short drive to the city center. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. There were many options to choose from for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and we had a wonderful stay in Portrush.
Extremely generous host, great communication, amazed by the soft touches provided for guests. The flat is located in a central area and close to main sights in Portrush. I feel lucky to have been able to stay in Port Pour Deux and will be glad to stay here again if I return.
The room had a fabulous view over the coast to Portrush. Staff were very friendly and the food was wonderful. The walk from the White Rocks just below the hotel into Portrush was wonderful. An ideal place for surfers and families alike. A truly memorable few days.
Claire and Uel where the perfect hosts. Friendly and very approachable. Their apartment was perfect! Spacious, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean and in a perfect location for walking around Portrush. We will definitely be booking to stay here again.
Hotel is very quaint, (it appears to have been a church at one time). Breakfast offered was exceptional. Location was a little ways from the center of town but walkable. It was nice being able to walk across the road and take a walking path along the ocean.
This was first class, Location, cleanliness, the kitchen/living area was gorgeous, Pearl was lovely also & nothing was a problem. I will definitely be back when planning to stay at Portrush in the future but with a front view and balcony next time
Really friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Great food in front of roaring fire.
Excellent massive breakfast made to order.
Great location in centre of portrush. Overall a really nice warm friendly hotel.
Great hotel!! always warm, staff very friendly, breakfast great, and you get a great pint of Guinness.great location just between Portstewart & Portrush going back again in January 😀
