An extraordinary and beautiful city. Very well organised with fewer tourists than Amsterdam. Lots of restaurants and shops. Slightly cheaper than Amsterdam. Many high-quality coffee shops and brunch options.

The Hague is much less touristy than Amsterdam and far less industrial than Rotterdam. I fell in love with the city on my first visit and have been back twice
It's easy to get around the city, everyone speaks English and the architecture is impresive.
If I'd visited in my 20's I would have definitely considered living there permanently

what I liked most was that it was easy to walk around or take public transport, but food was very expensive. My favourite places was going to the den hagg city centre and open market. I eat their fish called Lekker bek and their soup called Erwtensoep with Broodje Kroket. I loved their chips with mayo, very nice. I will avoid to eat close to the train stations is more expensive.

Areas outside centre also very worthwhile visiting.
Areas outside centre also very worthwhile visiting. Interesting architecture (including Art Nouveau), nice shopping streets (like Frederik Hendrik Laan), interesting musea (Maurits Huis, Kunstmuseum, Gevangenis museum, Mesdag Panorama a.o.), Scheveningen haven and route to Scheveningen Pier. Numerous restaurants a ll over the city and pleasant shopping centre (Passage interesting!) close by and within the city center.
Public transport (tram, bus) is very good and frequent till late evening. Den Haag is a green city with many parks and quiet places for a rest .

I came via Hollandse spoor directly from the airport with my suitcase and the bus station was right there in front of the hotel. Check in was smooth. I was offered a nice hot tea coming in from the cold and later on even a snack of choice. (My favorite... bbq chips :D ). The room was a corner room on the 6th floor with nice view over the city on two sides of the room. The room layout was very practical and nice. The kitchenette equipment for my particular stay. The Hotel is situated very strategically as it is easy to take the bus or even walk to the train station if you choose to do so. And it seems save. If you like junk food a McDonald is right on the corner. But also a convenient store not so for off. And you can always order in food.
A very elegant hotel in a very elegant area of the city with super-freiendly and helpful staff! At first, I thought it may be a little far from the centre, but it is very easily and quickly reached by tram or bus. There are restaurants and cafes a short walk away on either Valeriusstraat or Laan van Meerdervoort. The very hip Frederik Hendriklaan, described as 'the most beautiful shopping street in the Netherlands', is less than 15 mins walk. The hotel restaurant only serves pizzas, but they are delicious!
Very well located with a beautiful view of the Dutch houses of parliament (Binnenhof) the moment you step out. We went by train and walked to the hotel from Central Station, which was a pleasant walk of less than 15 mins. We had bars, restaurants, shops and museums on our doorstep, as well as several trams, one of which we took to go to Scheveningen beach. The rooms are comfortable and complete. Breakfast was quite nice, with a little bit of everything and at the weekend available until 12 noon.
We loved the location, the vibe and the decor!
The Collector is right in the heart of The Hague, yet the night was quiet, not even the usual sounds from otber guests moving around the hotel were noticeable.
The staff was great Friendly and knowledgeable. They add to the overall good vibes!
Loved all the art but my favorite was the "wallpaper" of old cassette tapes, so very cool!
If you are thinking of staying in The Hague, you should stay at The Collector, hands down!
The hotel is located near the highway between The Hague and Rotterdam in a commercial area. Good for people who travel by car as there are plenty free parking lots available. Not so good for people which want to have restaurants and bars around. Walking distance to Delft city center around 30 mins, however there is a public bus stop nearby. Rooms have been clean and good, but could offer little more space.
We hadn't visited The Hague before and I was surprised to find out how well located the hotel was. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean, well appropriated and comfortable. Our lost suitcases never showed up while we were at the hotel, 10 days later the staff received them and notified us. They then kept them safe for us until we could return to retrieve them. We will forever be grateful.
Right in the centre of The Hague. Near to shops, restaurants, cafes and historical sites. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a lovely time at the end of a busy day of sightseeing in the hotel lounge, reading my book and listening to some great music (not loud but created a nice atmosphere). Cakes were nice. Room was comfortable and despite being in centre of town, quiet.
Lovely little hotel in a quiet area of The Hague.I travelled to watch Muse play in Den Haag. Great public transport links with a bus stop around 100yds away and a tram stop also really close. Easy to reach the centre of Den Haag, Amsterdam or the coast at Scheveningen, which was an unexpected bonus around 15 minutes by bus. Very friendly staff and a really good breakfast.
It's a nice solution for a longer stay in the Hague, they have a beautiful and functional lobby that you can use to meet people and work. Internet works well all of my stay there (2 weeks) no breakfast options but you can easily find them outside the hotel, plenty of options. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Laundry dan dryer machine is a plus bonus.
The hotel architecture. The lobby. The front staff.
The location is exceptional. Accessibility by tram, etc.
Was our second stay, and we got 5 rooms. Recommend the hotel overall.
Few things to adjust, but a very nice way to discover Den Haag and the region.
Very nice to be downtown and only 30 min from Scheveningen beach.
Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. Friendly helpful staff. Well.appointed comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay again.
Idea location for discovering The Hague and short walk to and from concert venue, Maliveld, so no need for long waiti in queues for transport at end of show. Perfect.
The Hague Center is a nice hotel especially for a short trip to Den Haag. The location is really close to the center only a few minutes by foot and also the beach in Scheveningen is reachable in a short time by bike or train.
Also the stuff is really friendly and helpful, the rooms are not very big but clean.
The hotel is conveniently located between the beach and the city center of The Hague. There is some public transport making both parts easily accessible.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was nicely furnished, clean and the beds were comfy. There was room in the bathroom to put your toiletries.
A good hotel with helpful and friendly staff, very centrally located in downtown The Hague. Walking distance to Den Haag Centraal railway station, and with many public transport options nearby (trams and buses). Bed was comfortable. Breakfast is good, shower was good too
Loved this hotel. We stayed for a short trip in The Hague. Hotel is ideally located, walking distance from everything. Staff was super friendly and helpful when we needed something. Loved the decor as well and the rooms were very nice and clean.
Nice emission-free hotel in a central area of The Hague. Coffee at the lobby is free. Rooms are a little bit cramped but not uncomfortably. Price was exceptional. Hotel parking price, for The Hague standards, is cheap.
the hotel location is quiet and clean, close to tram satation and city center, reception staffs really very helpful , informative and cooperative that make my travel to netherland wonderful in winter season.
The staffs were super friendly, helpful and kind. They let me checked in early. The room was clean and comfortable. We definitely will come back and stay in this hotel if we visit Den Haag again.
The breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices. The hotel is well comunicated near the beach and with options of public transpor to go to the city center.
Friendly staff
Nice and clean living room and kitchen
Fast wifi
View from the room! Overlooking the market
