Waidhofen is a peaceful, nice town in Niederösterreich in the middle of the wonderful Ybbstalradweg. The place is a great starting point to excursions, bicycle and rafting tours. The city has a nice old town part with many dining and shopping opportunities.

We loved that. You can go on hikes, cliff climbing or mountain biking right there from the house. The appartment is clean, very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The hosts were very nice, friendly and helpful. The two nearby towns Steyr and Waidhofen an der Ybbs are charming and a "must see". We' ll visit Falkennest again in a few weeks.

The advantage of the accommodation is that there is also an experience bath, which we really enjoyed. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was gorgeous.
