Etmissl was a lovely small village to stay in. The people there were all very friendly. We got lucky and stumbled upon a Maypole celebration that was incredible to watch. The meals in the restaurant were spectacular (e.g. wild garlic ravioli with morel mushrooms in a cream sauce or the lake trout on a bed of stinging nettle risotto). We ate there twice in two days. And one of the owners made a point of coming over to us during the Maypole celebration to explain what the tradition was all about for them.

The apartment is located in the original apartment building, it is spacious enough, comfortable and fully equipped, suitable even for a longer stay. The centre of the village of Vordernberg (originally a mining settlement) is about 2 kilometres away, the Präbichl ski resort is about 6 kilometres away by car. The parking space is directly in front of the building. Although the apartment is located on the other side of the road, you can hear the road noise when the window is open (the traffic on the road is not too heavy, however). We were satisfied with the stay.
